OrangePi Neo gaming handheld with Manjaro Linux delayed until Q3 2025 with no exact date

This device was very relevant when announced. Now with devices like the Legion Go S that comes with SteamOS preinstalled, and the continuous delays, unfortunately it has lost a lot of interest.

But we will see, as I have already stated here, OrangePi boards are my favorite alternatives to RaspberryPi: great quality and price, and decent support. So we will see how this handheld PC turns out.

Brickadia is like Roblox and LEGO combined and it arrives July 11

Looks interesting, more like "Minecraft + LEGO" than "Roblox + LEGO" to me, since it looks like the creation tools are in-game (unlike in Roblox).

AMD announce the Radeon RX 9060 XT and a big FSR 4 'Redstone' upgrade

Interesting prices, assuming the perf is on par with the 5060Ti and that you can buy it at MSRP (that I doubt will happen at launch). For people like me that don't give a fuck about 4K, the 16 GB one should be a very good alternative.

Search engines are getting worse, so OpenWebSearch funded by the European Union want to fix it

I really hope this doesn't suck! Been using DDG for many years, and it works for me, but would prefer an European funded alternative that doesn't depend on Bing.

Wow, it really looks great. Not a fan myself of fishing and farming mechanics, but other than that tiny piece, it looks very interesting.

Is there a way to play is with the new assets, but without raytracing? I don't care that much about RT, but the new textures and models are great.

SILENT HILL f has now been fully revealed with a new trailer

Looks like "Silent Hill meets Siren". If Yamaoka is involved, I'm in!

I hope Valve are watching closely with Microsoft working towards an Xbox Handheld

We will have to wait and see what they deliver. It could be a good competitor, but being Microsoft I have doubts they will make a product with the attractive and openness of the Deck. On the other hand, Game Pass has a huge drag, so yeah, could hit the Steam Deck hard.

Death Stranding 2 has a new trailer and PS5 release date - hopefully a PC release isn't far off

As always happens with Kojima, the trailer looks AWESOME... but I already spent 60+ hours on the first game, so this time I know what to expect. The first game has a great story, environment and sound design... but story is really badly told (you spent 50+ hours without knowing anything and they shove everything down your throat on the final 3 ones). And worst of all, it had a really boring (but somehow addictive!) game loop.

When the reviews are out, if things are the same as with the first game, I think I'll just stick to the "youtube version" with all the cinematics, skipping the boring gameplay.

AMD Radeon RX 9070 and 9070 XT arrive March 6th, AMD dive deeper into RDNA 4 and FSR 4

We still have to see independent benchmarks to see the frames per buck numbers, but I suspect they will not be a high improvement over what NVIDIA offers (at least if we consider the MSRP of their cards and not the crazy numbers the scalpers are requesting). They had a huge opportunity to gain some much needed market share by taking advantage of all the problems and bad press with the NVIDIA RTX 5000 launch. But that would have also required an aggressive pricing, and that is not happening, unfortunately.
