Ubisoft and Epic Games are now supporting Blender development

I bet this is kind of a green-washing attempt.
Still great for Blender, though.

Someone still remember Voxatron?
*The* game featured in the Humble Voxatron Bundle.

This has been in 2011.

I don't care if Zep had the big, ungoing, PICO-8 success.

It's been too long.
I'm waiting for "Voxatron Story (1.0)" 8 years by now.

C'mon...

I'm a cheapo if my stance is "I'd buy it for $15 regular price"? :/

RetroArch, the front-end app for emulators and more is heading to Steam

Quoting: MunkI did not see this coming, but I like it. I'm interested to see what they do with integration. I don't see how they could do achievements realistically (though they do have integration for 3rd party achievement tracking), but they could perhaps use some of the steam API's like multiplayer joining in very interesting ways.
I'd welcome if Valve would support the emulator projects financially and get a licence to integrate them into Steam.

This would allow right holders to sell roms on Steam easily, a marketplace for roms.
Just the plain rom file that you can also use somewhere else and some separate config that targets the correct emulator and maybe optimized settings within the Steam client.

What have you been playing and what are your thoughts?

I currently play Baldurs' Gate: Enhanced Edition.

It's amazing how a great a more than twenty years old game can still be.

I bought it on a multi-cd package when it was released, got it on a singled DVD with my first Pioneer(?) DVD drive and bought it recently in a Steam Sale when it was dirt cheap in full bundle with BG2 and all expansions.
One reason was support for Steam cloud saves. I simply love this Steam feature!
But this is somehow not working properly for this game as the second client has only a much older out of sync save game.
Different story...

BG is fantastic!
I hope I can finish it this time.
After all these years.

Quoting: ElectricPrismRidiculous. Iron Maiden is not a fucking brand, it's a fucking torture instrument from mid-evil times.

Absolutely ludicrous. Still I think they made the easier choice so they can focus on game development and not pointless legal circles designed to extract as much cash from IP owners and so on. The legal system is a racket. The lawyers always win and the defendants even if they technically win always loose. It's political deadlock.

Maybe they should have renamed it some snarky alternative like Metal Maiden or some other cheesy but effective name.

Surprise - Supraland for Linux is now available on GOG

And releasing something new immediately after the Steam summer sale is rather anti-smart. :)

Edit: Oh well, the pic/post is fake?
