"World Environment Day Sale"
Interested in how much negative effect the whole Steam infrastructure plus the local machines running games have on the environment.

It seems like Steam Cloud Sync is broken.
On two Linux PCs the progress is not shared despite Steam Cloud Sync being enabled on both installations.
Can somebody please verify this?

OMG, I loved all the stuff from Ironhide so far.
How's the difficulty, Liam?
Edit:
Bought it. Was a no brainer.
Got a 15 % discount coupon.
Apparently, as I already own other games.
Played just two levels.
But this seems to be again my cup of tea.

It's interesting that developers tend to argue Linux market is too small to be supported, but when it comes to crowdfunding, promising a Linux build seems to be worth (a lie).
My point is: when Linux is not worth to be supported why promising it in the crowdfunding campaign?
It shouldn't be a big thing, right? Or is the share of Linux funders typically disproportionately high?

The rating doesn't tell me if my platform (hw + driver stack) will also provide the same experience.
Is the quality of support significantly different between NVidia and AMD GPUs (Mesa)?

If you can't/don't lock the software to your store,
subsidizing is not reasonable.
As Valve is using (afaik) open APIs and you can use Index without Steam lock-in, subsidizing would be at least dangerous for Valve - if not stupid. Think of subsidizing expensive hardware that some people use but without using your store that should amortize the subsidizing.
Not sure SONY did it with their VR, but in that case subsidizing would make sense.

Quoting: ArtenDon't think this has anything to do with Epic's store.Quoting: subStore says 1.1 kEuro (full kit).Epyc store certainly sabotaged money income. I do not know if they would subsidize it if there is no epyc store but it would be more likely.
Too expensive for me.
It's a pity, they can't subsidize the hardware. :/
My threshold for a full kit would be ~600 Euro.

I have freakin' old system (Phenom II X4 940 + Radeon HD 7950).
It's amazing what Vulkan is able to pull off with these specs.
DOOM + Wolfenstein II are smooth as butter with FullHD+.
I guess the issue is rather on Stardock's side.

Quoting: g000hI was talking about the related GOL articles - not GOG.Quoting: subHey Liam, thanks for this service!I did notice that Liam already linked the GOG Indie Week Sale [External Link] list in the article, and practically all the GOG games being mentioned (Sunless Sea, etc) are already in that list. It is just the tiniest bit of work for the reader to go to the list and then jump to the specific game.
Would you mind linking to the most relevant GOL article of the individual games if it's not too much work?
