The excellent theme park sim 'Parkitect' to leave Early Access November 29th with a campaign mode
13 Nov 2018 at 10:34 am UTC

Campaign mode? <3

I'm sold. Will support it just for this alone.

It hurts so much to see the many great (gameplay wise) sandbox games that don't offer a campaign.
And usually it's not because the devs don't wnat it, but because it's damn hard and expensive.

Feral Interactive have put out the system requirements for Total War: WARHAMMER II, due on Linux this month

Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoC'mon Feral, stop wasting the time with this! You should be releasing the episode 1 of Life is Strange 2 right now, because it has Platinum rating when played via Steamplay 3.16-4
I'm sure they're not wasting their time.

There is some truth to your post, though.
And I feel sorry for Feral. :/

Reports: Valve making their own VR HMD and apparently a new VR Half-Life

Half Life will be 20 on Nov 19!

Unthinkabel(?) Valve does not come up with something on this day.
Gave up hope it will be anything substential about Half Life 3
but a press release containing this prequel VR title + upcoming HMD seems plausible to me.

Book of Demons no longer getting a native Linux port, developer plans on 'supporting' Steam Play (updated)

I don't know. If you consider a native port not worth the effort, that's sad, but okay from a technical POV.

Yet, if you argue that you end up with plenty of issues trying to port your code base (crackling sound and whatnot) and then claim a generic compatibility layer outright beats you, then you're probably not a very good developer.

Valve's digital card game Artifact releases this month with same-day Linux support

So sad, all that Valve came up with after all these years is a card game. :/

The unique multiplayer survival game One Hour One Life will only support Windows on Steam

When it comes to recent games released on Steam Windows and Mac, but lacks Linux support, I'm particularly sad about Obra Dinn by Lucas Pope.

And it's a Unity game.

Kingdom Rush Origins is officially out with Linux support

Quoting: fabertaweI had a 20% off coupon on Steam for this today. I may end up getting it but found the last one (two?) just too hard as the game progressed, even on the easiest difficulty.

Loved the first game though.
I also consider them very hard.

Yet, I like that as too many games are just TOO easy these days imho.
I read an article from a game designer that argued this is a general
trend as todays gamers tend to give up too quickly and, hence,
stop playing (and buying) these games.

Oh yeah, but quite challenging, imho.

Quoting: LinasWith these rates we will have total world domination in no time. ;)
Imagine, in a year we'll be at 16.8%, and in two years we'll have a market share of over 470%!

Or maybe my math is a little off, that's a possibility too.
