Wow I love it. The ONLY game I miss windows for is Mechwarrior online.
I would definitely buy this.
As for the graphics, its really the gameplay that matters in games like this.

Liam I agree with your post entirely.
One thing I would really like valve to fix is the scaling of the steam client in ubuntu unity. As this is the only officially supported platform it should scale properly for high resolution displays.
I use my 48" 4k TV as my gaming monitor and the steam client is unusable as the text is so tiny. I am forced to put it in big picture mode which is OK but I'd rather have the full functionality of the client.
I think valve have totally messed up on VR.
For that reason I have already decided not to bother with the HTC Vive.
I will place my trust on Sony's VR instead as I feel they care about their customers more and are probably working harder to get quality VR games produced.
Overall I think steam is going in the right direction with linux, but they are doing it far too slowly for me to be truly confident in them.
