This looks like a game made completely with store bought assets.

Intel announce a new CPU with AMD graphics and HBM2 memory
6 Nov 2017 at 5:12 pm UTC

AMD has never really been able to compete in the laptop market, and Intel's integrated graphics can only go so far given the die space and lack of patents. This is the perfect solution for both companies, and it has been rumored for years now.

Kharon's Crypt, a non-linear dungeon crawler is on Kickstarter with a Linux demo and it's already funded

Quoting: GuestTBH I never understood why people make such a noise about 32bit libs. Why don't you just install them? I selected '32bit libs' on system install and have never been bothered by any 32bit game not running due to missing (standard) libs.
Yes, it uses some space. Much less than any medium sized game though. So what?
It's current year... We shouldn't be making or using anything that is 32bit. Why can't you just let 32bit die already?

This is not really a roguelike, but still looks pretty badass.

Steam Direct, the self-publishing system on Steam will cost developers $100, Curators getting an update too

Quoting: Nyamiou100$ for you is not much, but for some people, especially in poor countries, is a lot.
If $100 is too much for someone, then I think they should take care of that problem first before trying to get their game onto steam. I personally think $500-$1000 would be a much better as it's more of an investment; one that asset flippers and fake developers are less likely to take.

Besides, it already costs $100 to publish onto greenlight and look how much good that did. If it didn't work with greenlight, then it won't work now.

GOG adds a bunch of NEO GEO classics, some have Linux support

Quoting: sigmichYou could also download modern games, sofware, movies and music for free from internet. But it doesn't mean it is good. I don't like piracy.
I enjoy piracy quite a bit, but to each their own. However with old retro games like these and others, I really don't consider it piracy at all. I mean most of these games the developers/publishers are either dead or have moved on to the point that they don't do anything with or care about those IP anymore.

Quoting: operaDo you have a legal source for getting all these games for free?
I really don't care about the legality of it. I love retro games, but I'm not going to pay a penny for them.

Why would I spend money on these when I could just run these games in an emulator for free?

Parsec is another game streaming service, now with Linux support and it's blown me away

This might be interesting if you're on the go a lot, but I feel like you'd be better off just streaming games from a personal Windows machine if you're in your house. That's what I do at least.
