Syndrome, a survival horror game from Camel 101 has a pretty good new trailer

Quoting: Xpanderanimations could use some work. Seems like some 1998 game animations
but graphics look good indeed
My thoughts exactly... no immersion when it feels like an arcade shooter from '98 just with scarse ammo.

Someone should just make Amnesia 2 (piggy machine does not count!!!) with good custom story support and call it a day... it'd make a huge buck for the devs and a game for years of gaming. I still go back to the original Amnesia as the custom stories just keep on rolling out. :P

Splendid. This is something I'll probably spend a lot of time testing out in the future.

Want to see me take on Feral Interactive in Company of Heroes 2? Tomorrow it is!

Quoting: TheBossThis and this again. Never, ever buy based on speculation/SteamDB.

Make your purchase count, buy it when it's available for Linux and only then.
Golden words.
I supported Carma Reincarnation and look what happened... never again.

Though, should this hit Linux, it's a definitive buy for me.

DiRT Rally also looks like it's coming to SteamOS & Linux

OH HELL YES!!! FINALLY!!!
Been bugging the steam linux topic for Dirt Rally for ages now as THIS is what Linux gaming is missing - a truly great rally game!
I feel like I haven't been so hyped since the Steam Controller release. :D

...
Ok, time to come down now. :D

Overlord, Overlord: Raising Hell and Overlord II look set for Linux ports soon

Sad that I finished the first on on windows earlier - thus no longer have the save games for the expansion/ol2 (I don't think steam sync is implemented).
Though, I'll surely give this one a go again - sweet! :)

Feral Interactive are teasing yet another game on their radar

I seriously hope that it's not FNAF - basically that would bring in 0 bucks for Feral + it's a gimmic-game series which runs fine on wine.

What game would you most like to see on Linux this year?

Witcher 3 (still waiting to play it, though pre-ordered and played about 40h into it on windows when I had it) and Dirt Rally. That is all I need. :P

Steam Client Beta updated, fixes issues with lots of games on newer distributions

Quoting: GuestStill no sound for me in recent Unity games, but maybe it's another issue.
Do you get audio in Agatha Christie's ABC Murders? It's a recent unity game and I had the same issue, no audio - other games like Dota2, HL2 worked fine.
Found out that I was missing a simple 32bit library: lib32-libpulse.
Uncertain if it will help, but audio libraries are worth looking into. :)
