What pisses me off most about this is the fact that CDPR has never made a clear statement about the possibilities of a linux release - they have always just ignored the question altogether.
Whether this guy knows the truth or not, we never hoped for TW2 either, yet out of the blue it emerged. So, who knows...

If the actual end-product is as good as the demo was (I'm looking at the performance), then it's definitely one of the best contenders for the GoTY award this year for me. Will not pre-order but will check out the performance reviews (looking at you Bossman as you have the same GTX card) and get it then, if the performance stays the same as in the demo. :P

This update somehow messed up my mouse input on Unity titles - randomly slows to a crawl, then goes normal again. I'm really getting fed up with this crap. :\

Imo HoN has been always developed with OpenGL in mind, so no wonder. Sad to see that, though this is a great example of well developed game, most of the games that get ported to linux still suck performance-wise.
Ok, "suck" might be a bit harsh, but when you max your games out and get 30-50% performance degration on linux, it's still bad-as-balls.
Lets hope that more developers learn from this and if not optimize their ports, then at least start new projects with OpenGL/Vulkan in mind for better performance for us all. Why would someone even think about DX API when the other options are cross-platform and can out-perform the first when enough care is given? Sure, it might be a hell-of-a-more difficult, but taking on such challenge first will give the devs better life in the long run imo.
Ok, enough about this rant. Hope I didn't hit someone's nerves with it... if I did - I apologise! :P

I like the artwork on the HoF1 dealer more, but that entirely subjective. Will definitely buy as the concept is excellent and based on the execution of the first title, I have great faith in the devs regarding the sequel.

Really great stuff!
The game worked flawlessly under wine as well when I tried my gog version of it. When it goes fully native, I'll re-buy it via Steam. :P
