Quoting: StellaI wouldn't complain about that if SteamOS hasn't been working perfectly fine with zero compatibility issues on my PC for two years at this point, making this an actual regression.Quoting: Claude_LibSadly, it also appears to break network completely, even connecting a smartphone over USB in tethering mode doesn't seem to work. Admittedly, I'm running it on a desktop, so nothing was guaranteed to work in the first place, but it's still sad. I created an issue on GitHub, hopefully they'll fix it.hate to break it to you, but SteamOS isn't meant for your desktop, it's a niche console OS that only supports 2 devices right now. Anything outside of that, there are far better alternatives like Bazzite

Is it exclusive to the OLED model? Because it did drop on my OLEDeck yesterday, but my PC running SteamOS still says it's up to date.

Currently it sadly doesn't work on Linux because the local server emulator cannot start on port 443. Fingers crossed the devs will manage to fix this.

They finally fixed that annoying bug where if you open a game page from the library and go back, the selection would jump to another game a couple of rows above.
Would be nice though if they let us actually rename games, like Baldur's Gate III instead of 3, for example, or remove those eye sore subtitles like "Platinum Edition", instead of it being just for sorting.

As amoral as those games on the screenshot might be, the decision on whether they are allowed on Steam should only be made by the platform itself, local restrictions may come from governments or rating boards, like PEGI, ESRB or CERO. Payment processors should not be allowed to govern what people can buy with their own money. If anything, make it so that certain games can only be paid for via certain service.

Man, I'm trying so hard to make myself like Plasma more than GNOME, but there are so many stupid little nitpicks that just keep getting in the way. Like, how does one enable automatic login? You'd think it's somewhere in the "Users" part of settings, but no, it's in Colors&Themes -> SDDM -> Behaviour. Or add a keyboard layout, you have to go to Keyboard, enable manual layout configuration, add English to the list first, otherwise you're screwed, then add the secondary language, and keep in mind that you have to use Meta+Alt+K to switch between them, not Windows+Space, like everybody else does. Thankfully, you can still change the combination, but do you really need to have to do it manually? Not to mention that a lot of software from GNOME Suite is just plain better for my needs than the KDE equivalents. And tons of third party stuff I use is built with GNOME UI in mind, but that's not really KDE's fault.

So weird. Wouldn't it be easier to just reuse MangoHUD, which is essentially what they already do in gamescope, and make it work on Windows, since it's, well, open source?
