8BitDo Ultimate 2 is getting full Steam Input support for more buttons

There are so many 8BitDo controllers, it's pain. Ultimate, U2, U2C, etc., each with Wired/Bluetooth/Wireless variant. I have the Wukong-themed one, it's Ultimate 2C, I believe. Will it benefit from this support?

SteamOS 3.7.0 Preview brings the 'beginnings of support for non-Steam Deck handhelds'

I can report that the desktop session is still X11. I wonder what's on their shortlist that makes them not touch that default yet.
Hopefully they'll migrate to Wayland for the PC release. I mean, X11 doesn't even properly support scaling, for crying out loud.

Hopefully they will eventually go back and remove the EA App from A Way Out as well.

Steam Deck SteamOS 3.6.21 released fixing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle eyes and security bugs

Wonder why the green eyes bug needed an OS update. I thought it was a Proton issue. Guess it was a bug in the driver.

I doubt it would drop that hard just from S2 announcement, that's gotta be an error.

Intel and NVIDIA drivers holding back a public SteamOS release, Valve not trying to compete with Windows

I just wish they updated the Desktop Environment to Plasma 6 and ditched X11 for Wayland. Other than that, I've been daily driving SteamOS on my main rig (team red) for some time without any issues.

Steam / Steam Deck Beta update brings improvements for Startup Animations, Steam Input and more

Holy cow, it worked! Though I'm pretty sure I tested this on the same machine, wonder what went wrong back then. Now there's no point for me to use third party images like HoloISO or ChimeraOS, no offense. Though I kinda liked ChimeraOS for using Gnome for desktop, because tons of programs I use have Gnome UI.

Steam / Steam Deck Beta update brings improvements for Startup Animations, Steam Input and more

Just installed SteamOS on my sofa PC last weekend via Steam Deck recovery image.
You mean Steam Deck Recovery Image can be used to install vanilla SteamOS on a regular PC? I think I tried that once, and it didn't boot, so I just assumed that the system is heavily tailored for the Deck's hardware.

Steam Game Recording has officially launched

I used to use ShadowPlay back when I was using an NVidia GPU, and from what I saw, this looks more feature rich, but also more confusing. Can somebody please ELI5 to me how to:
1) Save last N secs/mins into a video file with a single button press/combo?
2) Manually start and stop a recording, with subsequent autosaving it into a video file?
