When there's a choice, I always go Steam first, GOG maybe. Though I refuse to use EGS ever, even if it's the only option. But in certain cases, like this RE trilogy or The Suffering dilogy, GOG is acceptable.

Quoting: soulsourceThis update might break exactly such setups. The list of revoked keys is stored in an EFI variable (-> mainboard memory), and if Windows is unaware that there is a Linux installation, it will happily update that list - making Secure Boot prevent the execution of GRUB versions signed with the now-revoked keys.I guess it's a good thing that I have Secure Boot disabled then.

I have Windows on a separate drive for rare occasions when I need it. The only clue two systems have about each other's existence is that Windows messes up the clock because I keep forgetting to set the RealTimeIsUniversal registry key.

Have they fixed the issue where Steam Input remains in desktop mode rather than emulating a gamepad when running certain non-Steam games, namely emulator Flatpaks like PCSX2?

So it appears they updated the original Doom to this compilation and also delisted the original Doom II. I mean, at least they gave us the option to play the old version and didn't forcibly take the sequel away from our libraries, like Rockstar did.

Quoting: scaineIs it coming to Steam at a later date? All these dependency issues (even on Steam Deck!?) put me off. As does the connection to Epic Games, but that's another story, I suppose.Doubt it, Alan Wake Remastered and Alan Wake 2 never made it to Steam, and they were also majorly funded by Sweeney.

That's good. Wonder how it's gonna handle SteamOS-like distros like Bazzite, or HoloISO, or ChimeraOS.

Sadly the gamepad support seems to be done via keyboard emulation. I was hoping it'd be native, like GInput for GTA games, with smooth accelerating and braking and analogue steering.
