Cool! It's about time that one of all these "coming-to-linux-soon" games without a specified release date, actually arrive.
This looks very interesting, so it'll be a purchase right away.

I've played it for roughly 16 hours now and I have had plenty of fun with it. It really feels much like you'd expect "Fallout 3" to feel, if Bethesda hadn't taken over the franchise. There's already a lot to do and the basic game feels solid enough to recommend, even in it's unfinished state.
However, there are locations that only have an "In Development" sign on them, or that have lots of structures and scenery but no characters and the main adventure is not completable yet. They have promised to keep releasing new content even after the release and given what they have produced this far, I feel that this game is on the right tracks.

However, combat is very much the main focus of the game.

Quoting: ShmerlHopefully we'll see GOG release once it's out. Does it offer some exploration missions too, or it's about combat only?Sort of, there are missions where you are supposed to search for and scan various life-forms. There's also a fair bit of exploration involved in gathering resources for manufacturing weapons/shields/devices as well as searching through ship wrecks for stashes that contain valuable loot.
However, combat is very much the main focus of the game.

I was quite worried about this project for some time, that it would turn out to be yet another campaign that promised so much only to fade away into nothing. Yet, with what they have shown now the game looks pretty awsome!
Furthermore, if you check the kickstarter page and all the stuff they are aiming to do & include in the game, this seems to be shaping up to be a real top-contender where upcoming titles are concerned! :D

Damned annoying for me, I really hate "Late May-->Late August", when it comes to game-launches. Often too much sunlight unless you completly darken the room, too much warmth to use my preffered room/location for gaming and very often travel, visiting guests and other things that makes time for gaming quite limited.
So in practise, this more than likely means a 5 months delay for me. :-(

Bought, together with "Wywern Crown" & "Pirates" DLC. However, I think I´ll wait a bit with playing since my cursor got a little displaced after I enlarged the gui and changed a few graphical settings.
I´m also currently having a surprisingly good time with "Vendetta-Curse of Raven Cry". Bought it very cheaply on sale with minimal expectations, but to my surprise the missing 1.10 patch had been added to linux and the game has been rather fun as well as bug & crash free for 5-6 hours now.

There's also the fact that the info is for the "main gaming computer" and I have 4 computers, one that is very old and 3 more modern that I occasionally use for gaming depending on whether I'm at home or away and also dependent on what time of year it is. (during the warmer part of the year, may-sept, I hardly use my "main computer" at all, instead I use either a laptop or a desktop that is in a room below ground level, for coolness sake)
Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire delayed until May

I still feel really pissed at MS for releasing Halo & Halo2 for windows but making Halo3 xbox-exclusive. Back in my windows days, that was a betrayal of the highest order. ;-)

Quoting: sbolokanovOn the other hand I have taken a look at my wishlist and noticed Divinity OS EE.I'd love to sink my teeth into that game as well, but I was hoping to first hear some kind of announcement that the sequel is heading for Linux as well. I find it incredibly annoying when I can't play through a game-series because the series was only partially released on my format of choice.
Watched little gameplay on youtube and I must say I kinda like it. So that's my next to-play.

Quoting: sbolokanovWhat really bothers me is this 2D style, where you can't rotate, zoom, etc. So never got to playing this game.Well, there is "Atom RPG", which is an early access title that is heavily inspired by Fallout. In that game you can zoom in/out, rotate the camera as well as change the viewpoint angle. I've played it for 15 hours and it's really quite good, although it's not quite finished yet. I think they're aiming for a May release date, with plenty of additions, new locations and free "sidequest-dlc" for the rest of the year.
Something like NWN/DA is more to my liking. But as far as I'm aware there is none that fits the parameters. Aside from NWN and NWN EE ofcourse.

It`s fine by me. NWN:EE is soon here and then there might also be some other release like "Tomb Raider" or "Life Is Strange:BtS" or something else that just pops up, so one month is cool.
