Thimbleweed Park developer stated on Twitter that Linux (and Mac) sales have been good

That´s wonderful!

Loved the game, it was one of those rare titles where I found myself actually missing the gameworld after I finished it. I certainly hope other "point & click" developers gets this message and starts making their games with all three platforms in mind from the start.

Two Worlds II to release on Linux in May, along with engine upgrade & Call of the Tenebrae DLC

Great! I have been holding off on playing the first game until I was certain that this one really would be ported (same thing with "Divinty Original Sin") because I really detest having a series of games "interrupted" in some manner. So I will get right on installing the first title.

An interview with Beamdog about Linux gaming, they say it’s worth it

Thanks, a great interview! I had been wondering myself what the specific purpose of the beamdog client really was. I bought "Torment" a few days ago, just on regular steam, though I´m considering buying the soundtrack extra (since there is no ultra-special-humongous-edition available for purchase) because I really do want to show my appreciation for Beamdog, bringing so many of my all time favorite crpgs to Linux.

Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter is now available on the Fusion engine with Vulkan

Thanks for the update! I would have probably missed this otherwise. All the "Serious Sam" games for less than 10 euro, even though I already bought the "HD First Encounter" when fusion was released, it still feels like I'm practically stealing software from them when buying the whole bundle.

It looks like we may be getting a Planescape Torment Enhanced Edition

Fantastic! I´ve been waiting for the enhanced edition of "Icewind Dale" for a long time now (and keeping my fingers crossed for IWDII as well) but I didn´t dare to hope for "Torment".

The new "Beamdog Client" sounds interesting as well:

"Sharp eyed users will notice the new Beamdog Client supports products on Mac (we’ve specifically designed it to work well with Sierra) and Linux. Though Linux users will see an empty list where games should be, perhaps that’s a sign of things to come in the future. ;)

What game are you truly thankful to have on Linux & SteamOS?

Well, since crpg:s have always been my favorite type of game, I'll have to go with the bunch of well polished party-based crpg:s available: BG:EE 1&2, PoE, Tyranny, the Shadowrun-titles and a few others.

Sure, I love Dying Light, Stellaris, Civ V and several other prominent titles but without the bunch of role playing games mentioned above...staying on Linux would probably not be an option for me and I'd have to grudgingly crawl back to "spyware-r-us" operating system.

Steam Winter Sale confirmed for December 22nd

A little frustrating but for the moment I don't feel that there's much available for me to buy.

Still waiting for word on the port of "Everspace". Still hoping for a small release miracle from "Stasis" or "The Age of Decadence" or "Kathy Rain". I had hoped that "Civ VI" and "Shadow Warrior 2" would magically appear (like they were supposed to do on their original release date)

Then there's "Torment: ToN" that I would have pre-purchased if only they had the steamOS logo and linux sys-specs up on their steam page. Not to mention a dozen or so other game-titles that were once "promised" to have future linux ports.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance will not aim for day-1 Linux support

Hmm...not sure if I should feel optimistic or pessimistic about this. I'd certainly *like* to be optimistic, but I've been burned far to many times when I've interpreted "Windows First-Linux Later", as some kind of guarantee.

Far too often it seems like that very approach from the developers, makes the liux version much less likely to occur (choosing incompatible middleware and whatever). Nope, I think I'll continue to regard the Linux-version as officially "scrapped", until there is something really concrete that says otherwise.

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, the top-down stealth game is now out

I've only played it for a little bit as well, yet I too feel pretty impressed by what I've seen so far; fast loading times, pretty graphics, lots of stealth & ninja-stuff to get into and the option to have all the audio in either japanese or english. (japanese voices provides the proper atmosphere, or so I feel)

'Lara Croft GO', a turn based puzzle-adventure released day-1 on Linux

I felt a little bit bad that I already had Tomb Raider from my windows days, so I couldn't "support the port", so to speak. I bought this instead and hope that it will go a tiny bit of the way towards a port of "Rise" for Linux.
