BATTLETECH, the turn-based mech battler from Harebrained Schemes has a new trailer

[quote=Expalphalog]Never been interested in mechs honestly, but after the Shadowrun series, I would buy anything that HBS wants to sell me.[/er had a mech interestquote]

Same here! Never had a mech interest but the "shadowrun" games as well as the trailers for this one makes this an insta-buy. Wishlishted.

The developers of Mantis Burn Racing are open to bringing the game to Linux, if there’s enough interest

Huh, long ago I was very fond of an arcade game that was called "Super Sprint" and later I also enjoyed "Death Rally" on PC. This looks similar to both of those and I don´t think I have seen someting like it on linux, so I´ll certainly add my voice to a porting.

Phoenix Point is now fully funded, should be on Linux with a same-day release

Terror from the Deep Strikes Back, this looks super interesting. I loved the X-COM games but something from Gollop is possibly even more interesting.

ATOM, an RPG inspired by Fallout is on Kickstarter, Linux demo available

Wishlisted!

It looks really nice, although I hope it's more stable than Wasteland 2, at least for me that was sadly a real crash-to-desktop bonanza.

Thimbleweed Park developer stated on Twitter that Linux (and Mac) sales have been good

That´s wonderful!

Loved the game, it was one of those rare titles where I found myself actually missing the gameworld after I finished it. I certainly hope other "point & click" developers gets this message and starts making their games with all three platforms in mind from the start.

Two Worlds II to release on Linux in May, along with engine upgrade & Call of the Tenebrae DLC

Great! I have been holding off on playing the first game until I was certain that this one really would be ported (same thing with "Divinty Original Sin") because I really detest having a series of games "interrupted" in some manner. So I will get right on installing the first title.

An interview with Beamdog about Linux gaming, they say it’s worth it
8 Apr 2017 at 9:11 pm UTC

Thanks, a great interview! I had been wondering myself what the specific purpose of the beamdog client really was. I bought "Torment" a few days ago, just on regular steam, though I´m considering buying the soundtrack extra (since there is no ultra-special-humongous-edition available for purchase) because I really do want to show my appreciation for Beamdog, bringing so many of my all time favorite crpgs to Linux.

Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter is now available on the Fusion engine with Vulkan
6 Apr 2017 at 2:16 pm UTC

Thanks for the update! I would have probably missed this otherwise. All the "Serious Sam" games for less than 10 euro, even though I already bought the "HD First Encounter" when fusion was released, it still feels like I'm practically stealing software from them when buying the whole bundle.

It looks like we may be getting a Planescape Torment Enhanced Edition

Fantastic! I´ve been waiting for the enhanced edition of "Icewind Dale" for a long time now (and keeping my fingers crossed for IWDII as well) but I didn´t dare to hope for "Torment".

The new "Beamdog Client" sounds interesting as well:

"Sharp eyed users will notice the new Beamdog Client supports products on Mac (we’ve specifically designed it to work well with Sierra) and Linux. Though Linux users will see an empty list where games should be, perhaps that’s a sign of things to come in the future. ;)
