Well the trailer looks pretty cool and Remedy gets my cash often. The fact that it is Steam Deck verified makes it that much better.

This is a great number for marketing purposes. I am always surprised at how many of my 250 Steam games just work on Manjaro. However their should be a quality rating like Great | Good | Just Okay.

I don't expect much from MS these days, but I still hope they find away to bring some real competition to the space. I am still voting for Steam devices, but I typically own more than one gaming device at any given time. Currently, dual booting Windows and Linux for gaming, have an Xbox Series X and a Bazzite Steam Box in the living room.

GeForce NOW app for Steam Deck has arrived

Asking me to pay for a service six months at a time when I consider it still a very much "in development" product is a huge ask. The setup is not user-friendly in the strictest sense, and it is not what most people will expect for a console-like experience on the Steam Deck. Most gamers libraries will be much more diverse than what is actually compatible with the service. The only way for GeForce Now to be attractive is to include some paid games for free...not free games. You also lose some key Steam Deck features when leveraging GeForce Now (game suspend). I love the concept, but I think it still needs two more years in the oven.

I love that there is an audience for this type of stuff. I am a self-proclaimed super nerd, but this is beyond that pail. Also, I am loving seeing the COMMENTS link right below the article title now!

@benstor214: You are not wrong, there are some people who are dead set on continuing to use some silly free or $59.00 program to make family movies or something. I push a little harder and suggest that they do that on their iPad or their phone instead. When I can eventually convince my own son and brother to make the move to Linux, the possibilities for Linux will be real

I have been doing my bit to push the idea of Linux on the desktop for about two years now. Ten years ago, I would never have expected my wife to use it. We have five PCs in the house, and only one of them is running Windows full-time. My belief is that most people just need Linux, a browser and a printer for surfing, shopping, banking and youtubing.

This is the type of game I have generally not paid much attention to most of my gaming life. However, since turning 50 years old, this is exactly the type of game I am beginning to enjoy more. The art, the story and the soundscape sets a mood that you can just sit back on a sofa with a controller and really enjoy. It's a bit like playing a comic or living in a picture book. I recommend a similarly themed game called Unforeseen Incidents, which is Steam Deck verified.
