reminds me of dslinux, i never figured out an usecase for it, but it but i had to test anyway.
somepeople were using it to multitask, i mean, there were torrent clients for ds, irc clients etc but if you wanted to run more than 1 homebrew at the same time, ds linux was your only option.
back in the days an smarthphone was not a thing, so it had some usecases.

as for this one...
well, n64 has an av-out, so it may be usefull for something

that is quite bad, not only we are having less native AAA games anounced for us (aside from stadia) but we are losing the games we had...
sure, you can still play then, but if they get any updates you wont see then, if you purchase then, even if you can play it on linux, there is no guarantee they will be fixed if anything break due to an OS update, and many people who might considering try linux may give up because those games suposedly dont work, without knowing they do...

Yeah, my bad, I should have quoted the whole thing. 20% is still better than the 30% everyone else gets. Though I think it's the same as Epic? Pretty sure their exclusives are also 12% but probably not if you are not exclusive.
except that the marketshare for epic @ windows is much bigger and i dont see this changing any time soon.
who would be crazy to make an exclusive game to this thing?
i would if atari fund me, after all its better to make an game exclusive to an small platform/store than make no game at all, other than that, i dont see the point.

i still dont see why anyone would purchase this thing instead of an ps4/ps5, xbox one/xbox series...
especially considering the price of this thing...

i mean, the only ones who would like to purchase it are atari nostalgic fans and linux fanboys...
i dont see how this thing will solve our chicken and egg problems of lack of games/users, or why should i care for this device.

at least they relased it this time.

honestly i think those keyboards are an stupid trend, its a shame that we have to support that feature because some gamers think its cool and would refuse to use our system if we didnt support it, its a waste of effort that could be used to improve something more important (like wine) instead...

i dont see the point on it, distract you from the game you're playing? what happened to imerssion?
maybe it could be usefull for some applications that put the samek shortcut keys at different positions.

eg:
godot that uses qwe for grabing/scaling/rotating objects (like maya), and blender who uses g/s/r
if the colors that you put for those keys are the same, they can give you an clue that they do the samething.

other than that i see it as useless and distracting.

the most ironic thing is that devices like this, air drone etc, probably use linux, but have no official client for it (or at least didnt had at launch)
its almost like if they knew we would figure out an way to have acess by our selves, so they didnt spend the money on doing an official client to manage the device on our platform...

nah, godot have an better workflow in my opinion, the issue is:
this fragmentation of the open source comunity across different projects to do the same thing (an game engine) may decreasse the evolution of both engines.
if we focus our bets in an single "horse" we have an better chance to compete, and i think godot is the "horse" to focus.
but this progress on blender made me question my opinions...
