Played some Witcher 3 GotY yesterday, it just works out of the box for me. Runs @60FPS stable on Ultra settings without nvidia hairworks. Proton seems to be really nice :)

I would love to get a key of that game. Already saw it on steam and put it on my wishlist :)

I love Thief 1 and Thief 2. The Dark Mod captures the feel of the first 2 games perfectly.

Basically what x_wing said. As long as they don't bring the Galaxy client and Witcher 3 to Linux I'll keep spending my money on Steam.

The QTEs will annoy me again, I already know that, I just hope the story is good enough so that I will finish it. Can't feral add a skip button for them, pretty please? :)

Croteam will have an interesting talk at GDC this year about game performance

Croteam is awesome. I like how their games are ~30% faster on Linux :)

There is also a nice benchmark [External Link]

We've been helping @Croteam with their quest to resolve frame pacing and stuttering problems that have been affecting all gaming platforms for a long time; the Linux graphics stack lets us create solutions.[…]
You are welcome Windows gamers.

SteamVR beta updated to fix a radv crash and 'fixes' Vive Pro on Linux

I will definitely get the Vive pro.

Btw I understand Liams mistake with the AMD stuff. I sitll don't get it. With nvidia you have proprietary and open source. With AMD it feels like you have to install 3 different things out of 20 or something. At some point I should really take my time and look into that stuff :)
