The situation with 'Underworld Ascendant' and Linux support is currently a little confusing

Let me translate it Liam. They want to build a Linux version for the backers and if we are unlucky there won't be an official Linux build to buy. This kind of makes me worried :/

Quoting: EikeThere's a free predecessor [External Link] as well.

Did anybody try playing one of these with a Windows system on the other side?
Yes I tried to but it is kind of broken on Linux so I simply deleted it again. The problem was that when you start the game there will be an intro that seems to hang and you can't press the skip button because the game loses the mouse input so all you can do is press alt+F4. Shame because it looks fun.

Does the paid version run properly on Linux?

Can you hear that? It's the Steam sales train and it's arrived, also Steam Wishlist revamp

Quoting: sn0rlaxPerhaps someone can enlighten me on why Victor Vran is recommended. I bought it and it's the worst performing game I've ever played. Seems like a garbage port. Are you getting good performance from it?
Not a single crash and good performance so far.

Quoting: liamdawMy young nephew could install Linux in less than 15 minuets on a PC that costs less than $500 and test if a game has broken water or even launches.
500$ is just enough to pay for a GPU that can handle ARC properly. At least if you don't wanna play it with 5 fps or something.

Though I have to agree with you, a developer/ developer team should be more than able to install a Linux distro like Ubuntu.

Post-apocalyptic 'ATOM RPG' released into Early Access

Looks like Fallout 1 and 2. Will definitely pick it up. The new Fallout games weren't as satisfying as the classic ones.

Minecraft's 'The Update Aquatic' is set to overhaul the rather boring ocean

Nice to see that Minecraft adds it to the core game. Using sea creatures, sea plants and shipwreaks with loot for quiet some time in Minetest now, it is pretty nice. I will check it out as soon as the update hits :)

Realms of Arkania: Star Trail, a hardcore RPG with turn-based combat has released with Linux support

Watching the trailer makes me really want a remake or a new game of the Might and Magic 6 - 8 games. Realms of Arkania: Star Trail doesn't look bad but the combat isn't my thing.
