Making native Linux games is hard especially when you have to deal with third party engine which may not handle Linux as well as Windows.
or Linux libraries... it change very frequently and break many applications, it's hard to maintain a software if you can't maintain a stable system, or avoid manipulating the userspace
Simply put No.
Windows has the same issue, and to fix it they bundle specific DirectX versions, DLL versions and other things like visual c++ with each game. That is a lot of bloat to be fair but it causes less problems in the long run. Ever installed a windows game via steam? Maybe you have seen it when it installs those packages when you first start the game.
That said it would work the same way with libs on Linux, but 5 minutes google seems to be to much to ask for most devs these days.

Quoting: elmapulif linux had an stable api/abi that would be a problem.
but linux dont have one, every time someone say: "we have retrocompatibility now! its a solved problem" a few months pass and something break again.

then we hear this promisse again.
if we cant ensure that apps writen 5 years ago run fine we can be sure that what we write today wont run in 5 years.

its much easier to target windows then let wine/proton deal with keeping this api/abi compatible to whatever new api/abi linux currently have, you solve the problem once for everyone.
Just for the fun of it I just tried to run UT 2004 that i installed 2010 on my system. I reinstalled the OS several times and even swapped hardware and it still runs out of the box when i start it. Same with other old linux games.

That being said I know Unity has issues but if devs would start to develope games properly from the start it would just run for decades with great performance and compatibility that windows could just dream of.

KDE developer thinks they will become the 'Windows or Android' of the FOSS world

Just a question to the KDE users, is it still not possible to use multi monitor wallpapers? Last time I checked someone on a forum suggested to cut the wallpaper in half and add it manually to each monitor. This sounded pretty insane to me for a modern desktop back then. Overall I liked the look of plasma though.

For Rise of Industry alone this was more than worth it for me. Sundered also peaked my interest.

I have discovered The Surge 2 which is kind of a hidden gem, at least I didn't know about it. It is souls like but gives me vibes of KotoR and Mass Effect.

It looks nice but the overall weapon could pack more of a punch tbh. Also it would be nice if it could be a bit faster gameplay wise.

But maybe that is just the video, since it has a demo on steam I will give it a try :)

Oh well back to trusty Firefox. Not that I was ever gonna leave.
This was the only thing I might have been interested in. Ah well, back to not caring about MS products.
Same for me, that would be the only thing I would use it for.
