What Linux/SteamOS-version is that and how can I get it? I tried it recently with wine, had to install the SDK 2007, but the fps were just around 2-5. I would like to try a native release here, even if it is an alpha or beta.

no tux, no bux. well said. I am very far away from anything like windows, so are people (non g33ks btw.) around me as well. looks like valve + tux supporing games are getting my money. the others wont.

thanks to valve, seriously, I was one of these people as well back in the 2000's with the belief that neither Steam nor Source or whatever would ever be natively on linux!

Now I am a buyer of SteamBox as soon as it is released. Nevertheless I can't play much atm with my integrated card. Just 34 / 42 games...if someone has a gift-leftover on steam I'd be glad to unpack it .. ;D
