The Infinite port was great for me on nvidia, and Witcher 2 is much better now, so it seems unfair to dismiss them out of hand. While I agree, I'd prefer a native port for new games, eON is a good way to get older games on Linux.
Also, native games aren't always that great like others have said, like Dying Light, which still has lots of performance issues, due to the game, not the OS. And some Unity games still have pretty bad performance, another reason I'm looking forward to seeing more devs use UE4 (so far performance is pretty good on Linux)

I agree, many kickstarters and greenlight campaigns have promised Linux support without the developers looking at the requirements it would take to even do it, or at least haven't attempted, which leads to many of these games never seeing the promised support. I'm personally never interested in kickstarter again, and the only greenlight I'll yes is if I see a working Linux demo.

Would be great to see this game fixed. So far haven't been impressed with their level of support, but curious to see if they turn it around

I did get this response from their support team, so hopefully they're working on it:
"As far as improving gaming experience on Linux is concerned, please rest assured that our dev team members are doing their best as we speak. Anything which is present on Windows is ultimately going to work on Linux too. Releasing patches has not ended at this point"

I haven't been impressed at all by Techland's level of Linux support. It took them quite a while to fix game breaking bugs (like the safe house bug) and performance is still sub-par. Now these new features, like workshop, aren't even provided to Linux users.

GamingOnLinux has been a nice news source for getting the latest Linux information and for some of the interviews here. Aspyr has been great with Borderlands 2 and Civ 5 and can't wait to see what happens with them next.
