Hot on the heels of the latest release of the Vulkan API, DXVK 0.90 is now out with Stream Output support
15 Oct 2018 at 6:24 pm UTC
There's also pre-built binary for Debian, it contains only vanilla Wine + Stream Output patch.
There's also the Lutris source if you want which comes with E-Sync/PBA/Staging and Stream Output all in one if you wish: https://github.com/lutris/wine/tree/esync-staging-pba [External Link]
Hope it helps in some way :)

Quoting: GuestIf you wish, I uploaded a pre-patched Wine Source at this link: https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/issues/695#issuecomment-429553614 [External Link]Quoting: ShmerlAre you using patched Wine? Wine didn't catch up yet.Thank you for the reply. I didn't use patched Wine. But the patch doesn't look like something that I can do myself so I'll be waiting for the next Wine version.

I gave it a test run following the guide on github, excellent work :)
A couple of screenshots showing Vikings: Wolves of Midgard at work. This is a Unity game and previously both the main character and none of the enemies were visible.

Holy crap, I'm not sure where was I looking when I watched the trailer for the first time, I was always under the impression it's a 2D based space trader, only now I saw the cockpit flight :O
I won't have any use for the source code but these devs get respect for doing this, and very soon also my money.

The RPG 'Pathfinder: Kingmaker' is out with critical bugs in the Linux version

Just by reading the Steam forums, it seems the game is still in a very buggy state, even has some game breaking bugs. Also I can't repeat it enough, GOG Linux users still don't have access to the Pre-Order DLC.
It seems like a good game but I'll wait for the bugs to be fixed before I jump in.

According to Kotaku, Microsoft is close to buying Obsidian

Excuse my ignorance, but don't both parties need to come to an agreement for the company to be acquired, MS can't just buy the company.
Either way, if this ends up being true then PoE 2 might potentially be my last Obsidian game.

I remember the first time playing Spelunky in Wine (1.6.2), it was on Linux Mint with Mesa 10.0 using an Intel GPU with OpenGL 1.4 max, on a laptop with the sticker "Designed for Windows XP". Good memories :D

So let me get this straight, the devs can provide a Linux version on Steam that doesn't require Galaxy, but can't do so on GOG. What is stopping them from doing what others do? I really wish to know more about these technical reasons.
Even more weird since the Linux version of Big Pharma is available on GOG and this is from the same dev.

Personally I'm fine with waiting a bit more for the Linux version, there's only 1 thing that bothers me terribly though - the pre-order bonuses. Why do Linux users have to be punished with lack of content because the game wasn't ready for their platform and it's not even their fault? I understand it's just a few extra skins, but it's enough to consider it a deal breaker for me.
Call me whatever you wish, I know my reasoning may seem wrong to some people, it sounds counterproductive to our platform, but let me just say that doesn't mean we have to be treated as second class citizens and if someone doesn't speak up, devs will keep making the same mistake over and over. I'll gladly pay to have that the DLC.

Not sure why it's working for some people though. Removing that save at load might just be the fix.

Quoting: crazyeyesI can't help but notice that the method chain on the lower levels is named "Save." Could it possibly be that a thread is saving for some reason at the same time the file is being loaded? The game does do that and and now I have the faint suspect it's probably the reason why it crashes. Upon a successful load it does automaticalky save again.
