Quoting: ShmerlInspired by Broforce?
According to google, Broforce was released after this. I did notice the similarities too.

A gathering of penguins in Starbound? Count me in! Got the game last week and I'm already digging it (pun intended).

Space Pirates and Zombies 2 still planned for Linux, not due for at least another 4 months

A 2 man team offering Linux support where AAA shitty companies "can't"? I'm definitely in.

Frenetic twin stick shooter and platformer ‘RIVE’ was released on Steam, it's Two Tribes final game

Sad to see them go, this seems like a good dev worth supporting and I didn't know they made the Toki Tori games, I wonder if they ever tried to put them on GOG, that would give them some more widespread attention.

Since they're offering a DRM-Free version on HB I'll eventually buy these games.

GOG withdraw their statement about The Witcher 3 never planned for Linux, they have no idea

I kinda figured the GOG Support rep was wrong and now this confirms it. I stopped holding my breath for this game on coming to Linux, hopefully will come.

The Witcher 3 was apparently never planned for Linux

Sad news, at this point one (or errrmm Many) can only dream to have such a great game on Linux. I'll be the first one to admit that I bought it to play it on a Windows partition (and that's the exception I really made for a Windows game) till the Linux version was finished.

The optimist in me still thinks there's a shred of hope in CDPR land for Linux, and partially I think this GOG Support individual may not know what's exactly happening with the Linux port.

The developers of Armello are facing a bit of a backlash over the DLC not coming to GOG

Quoting: TeqI don't know what the root problem is, but I'm starting to suspect it's GoG. There have been several games now (that I know of) where the patches have come to GoG much later than, for example, Steam. It's starting to feel like a trend to me and I have to wonder if the back end management of GoG is making things very difficult for developers/publishers.

That being said, in this case it's very hard to tell whats going on because the developers appear to be babbling incoherently.
GOG has improved a lot on the patching, as far as I can see from the forums, devs are able to push updates through galaxy themselves (For Win/Mac Only Unfortunately), in a similar way as Steam without having GOG staff act as the middle man. Then GOG staff grabs that update and releases it for non Galaxy users.

So technically part of the problem has been solved.

Armello, the really fun strategy game has a new DLC with more characters

I would advise anyone against buying this game on GOG, the developer of this game has proven to be rather lazy (or incompetent) in providing a DRM-Free version on par up with Steam, according to what they say "they can't provide DLC to DRM-Free users" it has been a heavily discussed issue for a couple of days now already, Link To Thread. [External Link]

Regardless of how good the Steam version may be, this is one dev that's going straight to my never-to-buy-from list.

Liam may I ask why you went with Ubuntu Mate instead of Mint Mate? I've wanted to try Ubuntu Mate on many occasions but I've always stuck with Mint.
