Halloween has been in England since way before I was born and it's still just as popular now, always see kids out with their parents.

Also completely forgot they have the "Upcoming" section muntdefems which is why I didn't list them, such a poor layout for their home page. I seriously think this page [External Link] should be their home page. They keep saying they are re-doing it but....when?

Well yeah Desura is small enough to probably want as many developers on board as possible so I bet the entry is a lot easier than Steam so of course they will flock to it if they can.
Although some developers won't want to spread their game across several websites as it may lose them income as they would need to hit the threshold for a pay-out which with sites like Desura they might not hit since it's not as popular as Steam. Then again it depends how popular the game is.

Speaking personally for me I haven't purchased this one, mainly because I am not interested in the games to sit down and play myself. I think that will be one of the big reasons is that their games have a particular audience as opposed to a HIB.

Quoting: MaokeiLots of complaints here even though its a beta. The complaints come out of the fact it went through a Closed Beta to come out like this, as stated before as well these bugs where already submitted to them and not fixed.

I am a bit shocked at this being turned into an open beta with such glaring issues. I too had to switch to transmission fromqbittorrent to get the data to download, just popped it in the folder after and it seems to work, i get to tge login screen at least.
Considering its reported already by you i am surprised they still opened it, not a good impression.
The register button on the Login screen also does nothing *sigh*, such poor Q&A must have been done on it, I have reported this as well.
