Quoting: TheSHEEEPWhat is "naff" naming?

Another source https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=naff [External Link] and so on. Pretty common where I am from, I forget that English slang can be an acquired taste. Basically, naff = a bit rubbish.

Yeah, I get that angle of course, but Snaps and such are supposed to be contained aren't they from the host system to prevent abuse too.

Quoting: setzer22Issues "being looked into" could have something to do with the fact that I have to quickly press "Skip" when steam starts processing Vulkan shaders or the system starts consuming more and more RAM until it hits 32GB and my whole system dies.

Let's all take a minute to thank NVidia for their great contributions to Linux gaming!
I actually had to turn it off, it made my PC freeze up hard with my NVIDIA GPU.
Quoting: Steam Client Beta - December 9thLinux:
- Improved performance of processing incremental Vulkan shader database updates
- Fixed several issues around skipped Vulkan shader processing continuing in the background after a game has started
- Disabled shader processing on NVIDIA while driver issues are being looked into
Yup, tis mentioned in the article, was talking past experience before this ;)

Quoting: CatKillerPython 3 has been out for 12 years, and Python 2 has been EOL for a year already. Containerisation is useful in its own right, but using it to limp along with a dead Python version doesn't seem like a great plan for something that's under active development.
Well if it works, and it keeps useful applications alive, there's nothing wrong with it and there's people who have issues with the newer Python version of SC Controller. No need to have one solution forced on everyone, options are good for those who need it :)

You shouldn't. Going to the home page, it shows me a clear link [External Link] that can get you right into Super Bomberman R Online and it says "No Stadia Pro Membership or Credit Card Required".

Quoting: GuestI tested it today. Apparently it doesn't work on FreeBSD because Chromium does not provide hardware acceleration for the decoding in combination with the proprietary Nvidia software.
It doesn't require hardware accel though, most Chrome / Chromium installs on Linux do not have it with NVIDIA and it doesn't cause issues for me.
Quoting: orochi_kyoThe Steam hate is quite confirmed when the vocal AntiDRM users(very present on this website) are silent in Stadia posts.
Maybe because some people have blocked the Stadia tag, or just act like a reasonable adult and don't comment and moan on posts about things they're clearly not interested in? More people should do that, and let others enjoy what they like. Hint hint.

Noticed some too, I sent them a ticket and a video showing it.
