Yup, there's bots available, each game appears to have a different set tweaked for them too.
Proton GE compatibility layer has a big new release up

That guide is supposed to be simple though, if we start loading it up with Proton GE and all sorts it defeats the purpose. Additionally, it already mentions Wine anyway.

Quoting: NanobangLiam, I'd like to suggest adding this, whole-cloth, to your already existing Proton/SteamPlay primer. This article was exactly the kind of concise-but-clear info someone like me wonders about. Really excellent work! :grin:We have a dedicated page, which links to a proper guide ;)
The 'Update of Plenty' has arrived for Dead Cells - revamping lots

Quoting: AciDIt's a great game. You can fix that yourself. Set your desktop configuration for controllers to an actual gamepad, then it works. Having gamepads set as a mouse for desktop fucks with quite a few games in surprising ways - Steam Input can be really funky and I've seen quite a few developers rant about it ;)
Too bad after 3 millions copies and 19 updates they still did not manage to support the Steam controller.
Having to close Steam, launch sc-controller with the specific 'dead cells' configuration, then relaunch steam, then launch Dead cells is a chore.
Message for the devs; "Chers développeurs, pensez à vos joueurs et implémenter le support natif du Steam controller sous Linux, merci !"

The debate is always nice to have of course but I think some people need to remember: such articles, as stated, are heavily subjective. I don't even like the majority of big-budget AAA titles, all articles like this are entirely from my personal POV.

Quoting: spjoeBasingstoke and Earthlock have no Linux icon. Do these games officially support Linux?Yes, I've let them know they're missing the icons.
Quoting: EhvisAlso noticed another thing. It used to be enough to "have" humble monthly to get your 20% off in the store. They now changed it to require it to be unlocked.I've not had to do that? Odd, it just happened as I would have expected.

I will agree to disagree. Frankly, this type of argument never goes anywhere. Pixel counting is just such a ridiculous and unproductive use of time. What you might think is a "bad graphics style" to others is awesome. There's no "right" opinion on it, it's video games, it's just supposed to be fun and that's what I'm focused on.
Quoting: PatolaPLEASE. Let's stop pretending good non-flat graphics don't matter.Pretending? Who is pretending? Speak for yourself. Why do people feel the need to project their thoughts like they're right, it comes off a little insulting actually. I grew up with the Sega Master System, Acorn, Amiga, Mega Drive and so on. I am fully aware of graphics and style and I still don't care. If a game is fun, it's fun regardless of the graphic representation.

Quoting: ageresstuffPixel-art is often a style choice. Look at Dead Cells, it's incredible and it just wouldn't be right in 3D. On all sides, there's always going to be games that don't look good. For every person who shows a picture of a 2D game looking bad, I could show one of 3D looking just as terrible. 3D/2D doesn't matter, gameplay and overall style trumps all.

Quoting: 14The amount of 3D games is sad.Games don't need to be "3D" to be fun.
