Quoting: scaineFor reference I can play perfectly fine on a crap laptop, with Ubuntu on wireless where it gets about 30-50mbps. It doesn't need a super fast connection, that mainly helps for 4K.Quoting: drlambThere are a lot of variables that contribute to one's experiences. 1000Mbps Up/Down Fiber here for context. That's all the context I need to not bother reading about your experience! That's... not normal. I consider myself very lucky to have a Virgin fibre connection - 100Mb down and 20Mb. That's usually about 9Mb/sec downloads and 2Mb/sec uploads. Usually plenty and way faster than any of the older ADSL connections out there, which make up the vast majority of rural UK.
You have a connection that's typically 11 times faster at downloads, and roughtly 50 times faster for uploads. Lucky you!

That's not something that needs debating either, stop it, you look stupid. That's to you and anyone else choosing to focus on such stupidness.

Quoting: joder666If you're trying to argue that women aren't interested, you have a very tiny world view. There's reasons why special groups exist, to bring more women (and other groups) into software development because it's historically been VERY male centered and quite hostile. It's a really bad take.Women represent about 50% of the population but are under-represented in software development.BS, as always. Change under-represented for NOT interested, which right now is also a lie, and we can meet in the middle.

Quoting: EhvisIf there is a chrome snap, I might give it a test run. Not really interested in the games that come with it, but still curious about the tech.I tested using the Chromium Snap, worked fine.

Quoting: PhiladelphusI just played it multiplayer with a friend a few days ago for the first time in maybe six months or so, and it definitely feels more…polished, somehow. Like nothing I could point to that was a huge improvement, but it just felt that much smoother overall. Definitely a fun game, especially playing with the ability to jump on! :woot:Agreed, it looks and feels much more complete now :)

Quoting: brokkrThe stopping was referring to the sales. Not updates.... and shows no sign of stopping, as they approach a huge update with Journey's EndUhm I don't know anythingn about the update but considering the name I'd say there is one sign of stopping, right there :D

Quoting: IvancilloSeems like you didn't read. It doesn't use your campaign party.Quoting: eldakingThis looks... extremely not good. This isn't a game that really needs online multiplayer, much less on a competitive ladder style. It is a huge departure from almost everything that makes the game good. Frankly, I'm bummed.This.
I think it's a new way to kill your party.
In a game so difficult to raise one.

Quoting: tumocsYay and less yay. Great game and great patch, but the GoG version has paradox login apparently removed which makes multiplayer inaccessible.Just checked, the launch script in the GOG version bypasses the launcher and just uses the binary directly. Manually using the launcher, then clicking Play works as normal and multiplayer menu and lobby is available. So either GOG themselves adjusted the launch script because of launcher issues, or Paradox did.
