That's all the context I need to not bother reading about your experience! That's... not normal. I consider myself very lucky to have a Virgin fibre connection - 100Mb down and 20Mb. That's usually about 9Mb/sec downloads and 2Mb/sec uploads. Usually plenty and way faster than any of the older ADSL connections out there, which make up the vast majority of rural UK.

You have a connection that's typically 11 times faster at downloads, and roughtly 50 times faster for uploads. Lucky you!

For reference I can play perfectly fine on a crap laptop, with Ubuntu on wireless where it gets about 30-50mbps. It doesn't need a super fast connection, that mainly helps for 4K.

BS, as always. Change under-represented for NOT interested, which right now is also a lie, and we can meet in the middle.

If you're trying to argue that women aren't interested, you have a very tiny world view. There's reasons why special groups exist, to bring more women (and other groups) into software development because it's historically been VERY male centered and quite hostile. It's a really bad take.

That's not something that needs debating either, stop it, you look stupid. That's to you and anyone else choosing to focus on such stupidness.

Just checked, the launch script in the GOG version bypasses the launcher and just uses the binary directly. Manually using the launcher, then clicking Play works as normal and multiplayer menu and lobby is available. So either GOG themselves adjusted the launch script because of launcher issues, or Paradox did.
