Psyonix are ending support for Rocket League on both Linux and macOS (updated)

Even if it works in Proton right now, they already said they will not support it. Any changes to their anti-cheat for example, could be a big problem. Epic also own EAC, who is to say they won't add in EAC since they won't have to pay for it. Again, Proton is not the answer for online games.

Unless you have under 2 hours and under 2 weeks, you don't get to.

Quoting: GuestWhy the hell are you even writing about it on a gaming site?
I write about what ever the hell I want.

If it interests me, I write about it. If I think it might help others, I write about it. You know what games are made from right? Art.
Fine. It's probably not gonna help anybody, but I'll concede the rest of your points.
Oh get a grip. Please take this ridiculous attitude elsewhere. You're not the judge of what helps others, just because you might have heard of it doesn't mean others have.

I've already been thanked in various places, from people who didn't know it existed, there's even a comment on this very article from someone who didn't know of it.

Please try being a little more positive and respectful.

Quoting: riidomCan we add tags too? I missed IF aka interactive fiction (especially since there is a storytelling category)
Can you rephrase that? I don't understand the question.

Just a reminder folks, if a category has a year on it to read the description. We're getting a number of people seemingly blindly nominating anything possible. If it's a 2019 category, a game from 2013 is not eligible.

Did you join the AMA, Liam? :)

I hope we get an answer to if our beloved platform will be supported.
So far none of the many questions regarding Linux have been answered.
Yeah, I asked, as I can see a few others did. No reply to any Linux question that I can see, but difficult since there's so many questions.

Can we look into this database? It would be handy to browse all games released in 2019. It is hard to keep track (too many games) :)
https://www.gamingonlinux.com/itemdb.php it's a heavy W.I.P as more bits are rolled out to it, plus there's some duplicates, things not yet tagged correctly and so on.

I'll have a monthly update out soon in the Forum to explain more on it.
