Speculation: Dying Light 2 may come to Linux after all
10 Jun 2019 at 1:40 pm UTC

Yeah it had issues, but they eventually sorted it and the Linux native version (at least on NVIDIA) does work reasonably well. Sure, better on Steam Play, but that's true of a lot of older ports.

I hope they do a bit better with Dying Light 2 if it is indeed coming but I enjoyed the crap out of DL1.

Quoting: g000hSlightly amused by your pronunciation of Google "Stadia" - I had a look at a couple of official videos and the Google people are calling it "Stay-dia" not "Stad-ia" and I presume their pronunciation is the correct way. Meanwhile, when I was first exposed to "Linux", I pronounced it "Lyne-ucks" and not the correct way "Lin-ucks" but subsequently have used the correct way for 20 years.
I pronounce everything wrong, nothing new there.

Sin (our streamer) always gets me for meme's, as I accidentally called it meymey's and then it suck for ages

The DLC will be free until July 8th, where 2K said in the press email it will be $14.99 after.
Not sure how to interpret that. Does it mean that if you play it before July 8th it's free and it will disappear after that only to return if it's bought? Because it doesn't appear is "in my library".
Added some additional clarification.

Quoting: liamdaweIt's part of Steam feature for shaders to reduce stuttering in games for us.
I know about the feature itself - but why does it download a handful of megs with shaders EACH TIME I log on? I mean, do they add new shaders all the time? Or change/update them?

If I had only downloaded once per game, or a new one every full moon I'd not even mention it. But each time I start the client? And mostly for the same games?
From what a Valve dev said, it updates quite often. The initial download is supposed to be large, then smaller constant updates as it changes.

Psychonauts 2 still confirmed for Linux.
Remember "We Happy Few"
Which last I heard was still coming, they gave it to an external studio to give it proper attention.
