Quoting: BeamboomNot directly related but speaking of the Steam client: Nowadays whenever I start the client it starts downloading shader pre-caching content for a lot of my games. Like, every single day. Mostly the same handful of titles too, amongst them *always* Fallout 4.It's part of Steam feature for shaders to reduce stuttering in games for us.
Do this happen to the rest of you too, and anyone know why?

Quoting: lqe5433All Stadia games will be also published to Linux/SteamOs?No and likely most won't.
This would be the best, but I'm afraid it won't be the case...
However port a Stadia game for Feral should be an easy task, right?

Quoting: M@GOidYeah the material the left stick is made of, is sadly a little too soft compared to any other I've tested. A cover is the best and easiest solution to prolong the life of it.The left side of the stick is noticeably worn out and the right side of the stick has a dip in it of material missing.I like my peripherals clean, so I clean them with hand cleaning alcohol from time to time. Unfortunately, that started dissolving the rubber on the stick, to the point I choose to scrap it to bare plastic.
So a week ago I bought a couple replacement sticks for the Xbox One controller, thinking it would be a drop-in solution. It is not. After some surgery with a Dremel tool (on the replacement stick, obviously) I made it fit, but is too tall and feels strange.
I will look at your solution for this problem. Hopefully it will be better than mine.

Another point of Steam Play I don't think I talked much about, is that it spreads our purchases even thinner with our smaller market share. Not something I've seen others talk about either, just something to think on.

Quoting: rkfgAnother great thing is that it works perfectly with a generic mini-USB cable. If your batteries ran out you can switch to the cable and continue playing. It's hilarious to think I never realise that if they run out during a Rocket League game, will have to keep one handy...

It will be interesting to see what exclusive games they do with their own Studio, since there will be no way to play them outside of Stadia. Currently, that would be the only time I would like to try it for personal time I think, outside of testing it for GOL to write about it.
Yeah, we all hate exclusives, but it's different when it's their own studio, no different then than Valve games.

Quoting: abelthorneOut of curiosity, did they have plans for a native Linux version of the trilogy and changed their mind?I honestly don't remember them ever saying the Trilogy would be on Linux, but I may be wrong. We've never covered it either, which leads me to believe it wasn't.
