Quoting: kamelie1706Needs ssse3 cpu for this Linux port?
I got tricked already by Feral for f1 2015, ssse3 is not needed in windows but required by Linux port.
Their process is different to what's on Windows though, not saying it's exactly a good thing but we all know Feral's Linux ports tend to need a bit of extra power on Linux. Plus, going by your PC Info your CPU is about nine years old at this point and never was great to begin with...

Quoting: GuestReleasing a digital card game years after Heartstone filled the market...gee i wonder what could go wrong
Not much, if you do it right.
As MtG Arena has shown, the market is truly big.

However, as has been iterated many times by now, you really have to do it right, and Valve just didn't this time.
If all of this leads to a re-release next year, who knows, it might actually have a chance.
I have to agree with this. We see the same genres like FPS/Battle Royale come out all the time, plenty of them become hugely popular. There's plenty of room for good games, just Valve need to get it right.

Valve have now officially teased their own VR headset with Valve Index

Quoting: aokamiSo are they still partnering with HTC ?
Will they keep distributing all those headsets ?
(Vive, Vive Pro, Vive Cosmos, Vive Focus AND Index ?)
Well, the Vive/Pro was the only SteamVR headset anyway.

We've no idea if HTC will continue doing it, we know basically nothing at this point. If the Index costs less and is at least as good as the Vive, is there any need?

Quoting: GuestThe tutorial for Tropico 5 was way too complicated, so yeah, no.
I’ve been told that it’s better to start with Tropico 3, and for some reason I have it on GOG… I guess I’ll try that under Wine, maybe, some day.
Honestly, the tutorial in Tropico 6 was actually alright. I tend to get overwhelmed with info usually but this was fine.

Quoting: rkfgDoes it work better on Proton though?
I've been unable to try, possibly some issue with Proton on an unreleased opt-in review build. Steam gives a message about corrupted files, it constantly wants to do a small update and just doesn't work.

Valve have put out a new Steam Client Beta, it's small but good for Steam Play users

Quoting: BeamboomWhat do people use that overlay for, when gaming? For Steam chat? I just simply never enter that mode other than if someone happen to message me during a session...?
Invites, guides, achievement checking, chat and many other reasons. Some games literally rely on the Steam Overlay for inviting into games, making it quite annoying to alt+tab, bring up Steam friends outside the game and invite from there. Having this properly fixed when they sort the other issues currently breaking it, will make it a much more streamlined process.

Never underestimate the importance of small papercuts like this putting people off.

right now it's also free to grab from Bethesda using the code "TES25TH-MORROWIND" until March 31st.
And you have to install the "Betheeda Launcher"...no thanks, I prefer to use the Gog version, without installer.
Uplay, Origin, Epic...to much games clients that are not Linux compatible.
The method really doesnt matter for things like this.

Note: Article originally said the Logitech G29 was not tested and supported, Feral have since corrected their list of devices to note it was testing working and they've added others in now too. So I have removed that sentence.

Quoting: mylkathe specs are way higher, than for windows
As is always the case and the same answer each time, that's usually the minimum they had available to try it on. Additionally, there's always a bit of overhead on their ports so they end up needing a bit extra.
