AYANEO continue teasing the AYANEO 3 Code: REVO handheld

It's no different than buying a laptop (most vendors preload Windows) and putting Linux on it. I will continue to cover lots of different types of hardware. If you don't want it, don't click on it like an adult. You control your mouse clicks :)
Bazzite exists, ChimeraOS, HoloISO and so on and so on for handhelds. I'm not going to ignore a huge part of the industry because a few people don't want to be kept up to date with different types of devices and decide to moan about it in comments.

Quoting: geekeningbit weird to ask people who come to a site called gaming on Linux to just don't read the windows devices articlesI've covered all sorts of hardware for years, regardless of what they come with. The beauty of Linux is how we can and do stick it on anything. If you take a device, and put Linux on it and you're able to play a game = that's gaming on Linux.

Quoting: emphyFeel free not to read or block the AYANEO tag if you don’t want to see it 👍Quoting: RavenWingsNot a fan of this fake-hype-BS. Usually its not sign of anything good to come. For all the fakeness, they got this upcoming product on gamingonlinux's front page.

Quoting: JustinWoodI've been a fan of Siri and Mechanism (Deckmate originally) since he put out the add on of the same name a couple years ago. Such a handy accessory, and the CableMate is lovely too. While I don't plan to pick this one up for a good bit, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Inventory Sling Bag for anyone who wants an upgrade to the baseline Steam Deck case. If nothing else if you're looking for a laugh feel free to take a look around the Mechanism site, they have a habit of including at least one gag with every item.Like the video of smacking himself in the face with the Gaming Pillow to show it’s soft 🤭😂

Quoting: tarmo888Steam Linux Runtime 1.0 (scout) isn't exactly "newer", it's the most compatible.Poor wording on my part, amended. Yes it's an older one, but how they now use it is newer (in terms of desktop anyway).

AYANEO tease the AYANEO 3 as a 'revolution' and a 'completely new concept'

Quoting: melkemindIf people want to keep SteamOS and all the offshoots like Bazzite alive, it's important to keep buying products that ship with Linux on them. While it's great that people can install Linux on other devices, the continued financial support of projects like Proton depends on our purchases. However, the Steam Deck isn’t for everyone. Getting this, slapping Linux on it and buying games on Steam still clearly shows Valve it’s Linux.
In other words, get a Steam Deck first. If you want to get secondary Windows devices and install Linux, go for it, but please support Linux devices first.
Croc Legend of the Gobbos remaster will be a GOG exclusive

Quoting: suchIt'll get to Steam eventually. GOG doesn't have the coffers for anything other than a timed exclusive, and not a long one at that, I'm betting. Not necessarily if GOG have done any kind of funding on it, plus GOG have various other classics not available elsewhere.
