Quoting: TurkeysteaksWhat is the game on the thumbnail for the article? I recognise it but can't put a name to it and it's confusing me to hell hah.Killing Floor 2
This is a nice big selection of games - I've never tried Amazon's launcher for games before, usually only grab their GOG ones. Not that I have prime anymore, though this does make it tempting. I also still have yet to create an Epic account, though with all the freebies over the years I'm wondering if I'm shooting myself in the foot by doing so haha.
Drova - Forsaken Kin is an impressive pixel-art action-RPG for you to check out

Quoting: kaimanWhile it does look fantastic overall, the combat system has me worried a bit. If it requires more than mashing buttons as quickly as possible (and it sounds like that), it's likely not for me.No it is not even remotely button mashing.

Quoting: tuubiDon't you need Steam Play to use the Steam Linux Runtime as well? Or any other "compatibility tool". It doesn't automatically mean Proton. That is a very good point actually yes, Steam Play is more than Proton, it's also the containerized Linux Runtimes.

You’re not forced to do anything. Just…don’t use it. I really don’t see the issue. But this feels like it’s going to descend into another silly Proton argument.

Quoting: Linux_RocksYes, but can you disable Steam Play yet? Is the button fixed? If you enable all titles for Steam Play and then disable that part, does Steam still list all games? My PC is in storage and I can't check. I doubt either are fixed despite these crumbs to native Linux games. Why would you want to disable it? Can't see why that would make sense for Valve to even let you nowadays.

Quoting: scaineI find it a bit upsetting that some of the opening comments to this news are negative. It's like someone offering you a free apple pie and turning your nose up and saying you prefer pears. Can we not just celebrate the awesome work CellarDoor and Ethan Lee put into this with a bit of gratitude? That it might help future developers learn, not to mention the modding potential? And it’s great for preservation! It’s a win.

Quoting: StellaI feel like that's gonna be taken down because Warner Bros. think their IP has been stolen or something stupidIt’s a slapstick comedy parody physics game, that takes nothing from WB IP to get taken down. Being similar or inspired by is not a reason to get taken down, and they definitely don’t have exclusive rights on Wizards lol
