GOL stands here as a beacon of hope, as always. I enjoy what I do and I think it's important we note when people are flat out wrong, as I clearly showed.

Quoting: lovemytuxI always enjoy that picture and there's of course a certain element of that here. However, as I stated in another comment people really do read and re-post Softpedia, a lot. The problem is when you have many bigger tech sites parroting that SteamOS, Steam Controller and so on are dead or dying, it's not going to help us at all is it? For me, to ignore this type of completely utter nonsense would be a disservice to the community.

Quoting: GuestWho reads softpedia anyway? lolHeh, sadly a number do. Some tech sites often read them, then write their own articles parroting what they say.

The point is to counter things I see as false, in this case they're pushing out complete untruths and lies. They clearly haven't done their research about any of it.
I also quite enjoying poking holes in trash like this.

Small update: After posting this to reddit, the developer commented [External Link] and it turns out it's built on Linux!
Very cool to see my game here, I'm the developer of the game so let me know if you have any questions. The game was built entirely in Linux so you will likely find it runs slightly better on Linux than it does windows.

Quoting: Beamboom... But do the controller really receive frequent updates? Then I wonder if something is wrong for me cause I've not seen a single update since I got it just before Xmas last year? They come in Steam Client updates.

Quoting: razing32Does the skirmish mode allow you to team up with AIs ?Yep, teams are possible with AI :)
I always like big fights but unless the AI plays on my team as well , I don;t get to do that.

It is a generic graphic that we use for the "More games coming soon" section, which contains all of the icons. Sorry for the confusion!

Quoting: eloThank you for this server, Liam! My partner and I have had so many great moments so far, even met the only guy we kinda sorta trust.Really glad you're enjoying it! We've had lots of amusing and not so amusing experiences so far :P
I very much recommend this game, but be prepared to run it on low settings unless you have very up-to-date hardware as the game starts chugging badly on higher settings after a while (seems like vram is very important for it)
Quoting: eloFor me, it's great. So many games have such a false sense of urgency when it comes to survival, whereas everything you do in Rust needs to be thought about and protected. I think it's a fab idea, sure not to everyone's tastes, but it is what it is.Quoting: Mountain ManSounds like the perfect game for trolls and griefers. No thanks. It's a survival sandbox game after all, which gives me a lot more motivation to protect my shit and work for my own protection. I guess it depends on what you like - but calling it "Trolls and griefers" is a bit wrong when that's half the game :P
Quoting: Mountain ManAnd while the graphics are nice, I think you overrate them quite a bit just judging by the screenshots.Oh sure, there's better games, but to me the game is undeniably good looking :)
