Look forward to it!

Quoting: peteNothing helped, neither deleting the folders nor choosing a texture quality and restarting the game.Yes, to quote the article:
Certain ground textures (grass and earth for me) stay broken...
Anyone send a report to techland yet?
I have sent in a support ticket with all my system information, screenshots and logs. I have also tweeted the developers and the dying light twitter account with this article.I have tweeted to them again today [External Link], and I know they are monitoring it as they are retweeting people loving the DLC.

Quoting: dubigrasuJust in general, the game looks quite different on Linux than it does on Windows.Quoting: TheBossYou mean features absent from the settings menu?Quoting: dubigrasuI've seen a SteamOS vs Windows Youtube video where ARK was the only game running better in Linux than Windows.ARK has less graphical features on Linux, it's not rocket science ;)

Update from Valve [External Link]:
You have to have a Steam controller active for the config editor option to be present, but the overlay option is disabled right now on Mac and Linux due to focus tracking bugs in SDL preventing it from working properly. This was originally specified in the beta release notes, but got lost in translation, sorry for the mixup.

I don't think deleting the entire .nv folder is always a good idea, since that's where it will be stored for other games too, but it's worth testing for now.
ARK: Survival Evolved devs throwing money at BattlEye for Linux support, good news for Arma 3 too

I just tried it on my 980ti and I still consider the performance to be pretty bad. On High at 1920x1080 it still struggles to stay at 60FPS, and utterly kills the FPS at any higher resolution on Linux.
Medium and below look terrible too.

Quoting: AnxiousInfusionThose of you complaining about performance probably haven't played ARK in the last few weeks. They've begun optimizations as summer release draws near and I haven't had any performance issues. It can even run rather smoothly on integrated if you turn everything down to console peasant settings.Really?
