After over 80 weeks the Steam Deck leaves the top 10 global sellers on Steam

Quoting: sarmadKeep in mind that "globally" doesn't actually mean globally since the Steam Deck isn't selling in every territory, with big markets still left out.
You're right of course, the Steam Deck is not sold in every single country in the world. Globally of course is specific to Steam globally and where it's supported and sold. Otherwise, I would be listing the individual countries every time, most people get this without needing to clarify what globally on Steam means.

Quoting: VardamirIf the top sellers list is by revenue, how come that Counter Strike 2 [External Link] is number 1?
probably microtransactions volume. especially considering players trading cs2 items on steam's marketplace, and valve also takes around 10% cut from each transaction.
Yeah it’s from micro and prime status upgrades. Revenue counts everything for a game.

Humble removing the Humble Games Collection from Humble Choice

I get the Giana Sisters situation wasn't great but as we know sometimes ports just don't work out. Humble certainly aren't the only one to fail on a port, but they definitely could have communicated it better.

Feral, VP, Aspyr and plenty of others either cancelled ports entirely, or put out ports that really weren't great as did many other developers. Linux was a different world back then, much much smaller than it is now, I see no reason to hold such things against them when they offer up good deals.

Yeah, they deserve a raise because it sold me on it.

Sure, done.

I think this will end up being the next game I play with the kiddo, we're currently going through a Terraria run together for the first time. Seems a fitting game to move onto.

Quoting: Linux_RocksDoesn't KotOR II support Linux natively? 👀
Yes, but a bug fixed there can still be a bug fixed overall so it's worth WINE/Proton development to go after those cases.
It's surprising people still ask this question. Wine and Proton aim to work with everything they can.

Doesn't seem like there's any chance of transferring to Steam if you purchased on Battle.net though, annoyingly.
Well, that sucks.
Yeah it really annoys me, as they can generate keys free, and just put them into accounts of people on Battle.net who purchased it. Any developer can do it, that they don't is just really annoying.

Quoting: EhvisI did notice the release. Then also noticed that they didn't bother to add key rebinding since the demo, so I skipped it.
No key rebinds in a PC game release...in 2023? Wat.
