There's already people working on adding Fallout 3 and Oblivion/Skyrim support to the engine. One hacker managed to get the entire Capital city from Oblivion loaded into the OpenMW engine. There's a few videos on youtube showing physics/asset experiments. It will happen once OpenMW releases a completed Morrowind implementation.

Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar works on Linux, unfortunately all of the programming utilities don't work natively. You can use a VM to upload the profiles to the stick.
OpenRA has been updated with more Dune 2000 missions and plenty more

I can't wait for the Dune2K campaign to be fully implemented :D I hope they add support for the cutscenes though, the formats are all known. Mplayer has an implementation and the format is well documented.

Hah, I'm going to connect my PC to PSN and use the MAC Address from my stolen PS3. If it gets banned, even better! Seriously, the thieves that broke into my house last year don't deserve to get to use that console.

Work on writing wxFRED for Linux! wxFRED is a Linux port of the Freespace 1/2 Mission editor. It would make the engine a lot more useful on Linux and would bring compatibility on Linux on par with the Windows version.

I guarantee that Overload will easily be the best one. It's being made by the original creators of Descent 1 and 2.

A lot of support for Oblivion has already been experimented with, there's information here: OpenMW Oblivion experiments [External Link] Officially the developers will not be merging any Oblivion code until after 1.0 is out. Anyone can of course fork and work on Oblivion support in the mean time. From what I gather the main issues are: SpeedTree support, Support for facial customisation/animation, and support for extended shaders which Morrowind didn't have. The archive format for Oblivion also needs to be implemented as well as any updates to scripting/AI code.
Feral Interactive are teasing yet another Linux game

FINALLY! I've been waiting for Shogun 2 for ages. My Housemate will be heaps excited by this. He was never able to get the Windows version of it to run properly. I don't mind Feral porting over the entire Total War Series. It's nice to have an entire franchise come over. i'd like to see the same done with Company of Heroes, Homeworld, and Dawn of War. I think when it comes to game ports we need to be realistic and start supporting the engine remake projects a lot more. OpenMW needs to get forked and expanded to add Oblivion/Skyrim support. There should be more focus on engineering better modding tools for open source engines, and getting more games supported in those open source engines. E.g if there's little difference between most sprite based isometric RTS games. Maybe we should focus on making a universal engine for Isometric Sprite based RTS games. The same for 3D RTS games etc. I keep thinking of LibRealSpace which is on github. This one engine could bring Strike Commander, Wing Commander Armada, Wing Commander 3, Wing Commander 4, and Privateer 2 to Linux. That's five games where most of the formats/work would overlap. Not to mention the menu/animation code could be spun off to make a Wing Commander Prophecy, and Privateer 1 Linux native port.
GOG staff state that Galaxy for Linux is being worked on, but still no ETA

Man, people getting riled up over the galaxy client, what babies. More important than some stupid client to access games is the lack of games being packaged for Linux on the website. How many Dosbox wrapped games are there now on the GOG website which don't have Linux packages? The Galaxy client isn't going to magically fix that problem. My bet is that EA is blocking their catalog from non mac/windows platforms. That's a far worse problem than the Galaxy client missing.
Overload, the really great six-degree-of-freedom shooter has a major update

Uh you know right that Overload is being made BY THE MAKERS OF DESCENT right? Parallax Software split into Volition Inc and Outrage. Parallax Software was started in 1993 by Matt Toschlog and Mike Kulas. Mike then started Volition Inc, before leaving recently to start working on Overload. If anything it's the new Descent that's ripped off Descent. Mike Kulas is just making the game he's always made. Overload is the true heir to the Descent franchise. The new Descent game is some guys that got a license from Interplay, it has nothing to do with Descent. On another note, I'll add that I met Mike Kulas online back in the early 2000s on the Freespace 2 forums. He is one of the loveliest guys in the industry. Just a really nice guy.
