I love Geometry Wars, my first introduction to Twin Stick Shooters.

Any way you could check Geometry Wars 3 on Deck?

Quoting: wvstolzingI reinstalled it -- to find that I'm horribly rusty, as I can't survive beyond 12 seconds on Hard (the easiest difficulty is called 'Hard', btw). My record is 87 seconds on Hard, & 20-something on Harder.

I imagine this would be really fun to play on Steam Deck.
I've had some fun with this game, I used it as meditation practice lol. My scores are similar,

Hard: 90:23
Harder: 47:41
Hardest: 13:50

I haven't played in awhile either. 26:58 on Hard, not too bad for a first go haha, I remember some of the patterns. This game is ridiculous and I recommend everyone play it. I can never get any of my friends to play lol

They did state they'll honor all the orders that were placed while the site was live, so that's nice.

The pricing seems very reasonable. This is great! It'll be nice when the batteries show up too.

Steam Deck hits 2,500 games Verified or Playable

Quoting: EikeBut my bigger worry is games marked as playable or verified which just stop working (like reported on this very site)
This is what I was talking about with under 1%. That's what matters, if a game is marked unsupported and it works, great, it's not a problem in the same way as a game marked verified or playable not working.

Quoting: WorMzyGiven how hit and miss this verification system seems to be, the number is entirely meaningless.
The miss percentage is way under 1%, so this take is downright goofy.

Good article, amazing how the "big guys" get it so wrong vs. one competent "little guy". 💯

This was the first Worms I played, none of the followups were quite the same.

Valve marks the first month of the Steam Deck

The amount of work they've done in a month is very impressive. It annoys me to no end when I see people posting on reddit about how "astonishing" it is when they don't have this feature or how exceedingly disappointed they are then it doesn't have that feature. Follow that up with "I really can't believe that this isn't fixed by now" when the device has been out for a month! Enough hyperbole, they are making improvements constantly, how about a pat on the back and a feature request rather than shitting all over them?
