Quoting: wolfyrionWell DOOM and Dark Souls 3 released previous month so it was obvious that people would want to play these games.

This month is Total War:Warhammer

So dont expect the Linux gaming community to rise its numbers at any given time...
This is it. Just look at the number of concurrent users playing Total War: Warhammer since release - it's a crazy number. If they had had a day one release on Linux too, these numbers may have looked a bit different this month.

I just love the look of those graphics. Dynamic lighting and shadows with pixel graphics is something very cool.

Quoting: wojtek88It means teaser "Drifting Snows" was about Life is Strange. For me it's weird and it is super disappointing. I was expecting DIRT: Rally and it looks it is not ported by Feral (maybe it is not ported at all).
If this teaser was not about DIRT: Rally I assume DOOM is also not the one that was announced with "808 SB12S" clue. Disappointing.
I thought DIRT:Rally was the African drum clue ;-)

About DOOM, if "they" wanted to bring it to Linux, then it would surely be done in-house by ID Software. After-all the engine is based on OpenGL (and Vulkan support has been shown too), and Doom3 had a Linux client released by them too. I think Doom is stopped by marketing/sales only.

Awesome news. So the Nut and Snow Drift clue turned into Life Is Strange. That is strange.

Well this is interesting; it looks like the MAC version was canned due to complications with the OS. Such things are making Linux look like a nicely maturing gaming OS indeed!

So we have reference to a song by MC Hammer = Warhammer.
Mars = The red planet = Warhammer 40k

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II confirmed.

Quoting: Samsai808 SB12S could be a reference to MC Hammer lyrics
I can't find these lyrics when googling - what's the title of the track? What is MC Hammer refering to with "SB12S"?

Cause it's the cryptic "SB12S" that is the most confusing here, imo. If we solve that clue I got a feeling we're a huge step closer.
It's the third verse of "Let's Get It Started":

Now, a lot of b-boys make em dance, Yo they fakin the beat
They hip hop on the outside put rock underneath
Before the show gets started, They shakin they boots
My posse in the end cold displayin the troops
Like a trooper, I'm down cold hooked on the drugs
808 SB12'S are expirin africans
Just put on the hammer, And you will be rewarded
My beat is ever boomin, And you know I get it started
