With the "Jemba Inertia Notes System" and "Pike's peak" answers, Dirt Rally looks like the one. Good detective work gentlemen.
Time to get back to Tomb Raider then...
Edit: I haven't played a Rally game since Richard Burns, so if it is Dirt Rally then awesome!

It's not launching with the Nvidia 358.16 driver, so I guess they're serious about needing 364.12. Looks like I'm upgrading...
Edit: It still didn't launch with 364.19. The problem in the end was having KDE desktop effects enabled - once they were disabled, the game starts and runs fine. I should note this is the first Feral game where I've had to do that.

Pavilion, a strikingly beautiful fourth-person puzzling adventure is coming to Linux

"Pavilion takes place in a world unknown to both the player and the main character."

Quoting: CybolicThis line also confirms what you're saying, so the player is not the main character and therefore it could well fit with the 4th person:Quoting: melkemindWell, fourth-person in grammar is either when one is referring to a general group instead of an individual (like I just did with "one" :P), or it's when referring to a second third-person or a third-person different from the normally assumed one.Quoting: CandricSWhat is a fourth-person?Just taking a guess here, but maybe you don't control the person at all, just the environment. Or maybe you make suggestions to the character and they may or may not listen? I have no idea. :S:
First-person is when you're seeing from the point of view of the character and third-person is when you're observing the character as if there was a camera there. What would fourth-person be?
If they use it in the second meaning here, you could indeed be controlling the environment (second third-person) instead of the little guy running around (third-person).

It looks like no Linux version of this and SR3 in Germany. Something about conveniently losing the source code or some such thing - just give us the US version gentlemen, and stop wasting time with these cut down versions ;-)

How did the "red" team get so many tanks at the end of the 2nd game? What determines how much you can build during the battle?

Quoting: KeyrockThis makes sense - good answer.Quoting: Segata SanshiroIn all seriousness though, a snow drift is an AVALANCHE.The obvious answer then is Mad Max. Avalanche are the developers of Mad Max and nuts is a synonym for mad.
Please let this be true. Please let this be true. Please let this be true.

Nuts remind me of Autumn, so that's the release date. Rise of the Tomb Raider has plenty of drifting snow... well we can dream anyway.

Nice water simulation. Cradle is the only other (indie) game I can think of that uses the Unigine engine.

Quoting: Comandante oardoFeral don't do Wine wrappers, so I expect this is another native port, and based off the MAC port which they also did.Quoting: ellieferalThanks everyone! Very cool to see people as excited for this as we are.Is a source code port or is another windows game wrapped in winE?
