Quoting: TetsF1 2017 does not run. It spits some message about a bug in my nvidia driver (same as Hitman that runs fine) and then nothing, stops running.
Tried to run it from terminal, but nope:

~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/F1 2017] $ ./F12017.sh
WARNING: F1 2017 not launched within the steam runtime
This is likely incorrect and is not officially supported
Launching steam in 3 seconds with steam://rungameid/515220
Running Steam on Linux 4.13.12-gentoo 64-bit
STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically

~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/F1 2017] 34s $

Any ideas? Is it the bug in the driver?
F1 2017 uses Vulkan API only so you'll need the Nvidia proprietary driver v384.90 or better.

Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia has been delayed

They really should update their FAQ ( https://www.totalwar.com/blog/thrones-britannia-faq [External Link] ). This will throw some people:

Will it be available on Mac/Linux?

We only have a release on Windows in our current plan.

Quoting: FredOIt's worth noting that your old save games will not be compatible with this new version 2. There's plenty of warnings about it when you start the game after updating. My save from 1.9 still loads, but with some strange statuses due to layout changes.
Do you have to start a new game to get all the features of 2.0 or can you update your old saves to the new version?
It's been new games for a good while when they release new feature versions. If you want to finish up your old save just switch back to that version and then move to 2.0 when you're done.
Sadly I lost my save game because of this update. Because I had it with Ironman selected (to get achievements), it autosaved in v2.0 but messed up. I rolled back to v1.9, but then it was not compatable there either, and was crashing. Ironman has one save only, so game over. Be careful.

Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia confirmed for Linux, from Feral Interactive
19 Feb 2018 at 2:13 pm UTC

Now this is a surprise I didn't expect - for some reason I thought because it is based on Atilla which was brought to Linux by CA internally, and because they're not doing Linux or MAC work internally anymore, that we would simply miss out.

I'm very happy about this - thank you Feral once again!

Stellaris: Apocalypse is due soon & there's a new overview video up, also a note about Linux sales

The Lunar New Year sale just started on Steam, and Paradox's games are all 50-75% off. I just got Stellaris and a bunch of DLC. ^_^

Rise of the Tomb Raider announced for Linux, port from Feral Interactive

Great NEWS! So we know in future if cookies are not an option for pushing to get a game on Linux, just give them the "Most anticipated game" award, and things start to happen.

It's time to bug Feral Interactive about future port requests once again

Rise of the Tomb Raider, because the previous one was great, and this installment looks just as good!
Total War: Warhammer 2, because it's a Trilogy, so we need part 2 before we can get part 3 right?

Realistic racing game 'DRAG' coming to Linux soon, built on Linux and it looks astonishing

You've got my interest, this looks awesome. Linux friendly too, so supporting this is one of those more simple decisions.
