Classic is a bit much. I was actively playing plenty of PC shooters back then, any I could get my hands on, even terrible ones like Tek War, and I've NEVER heard of this.

HL2 has to be pretty much my all time face game, that or Elite :P

Generally have a play through once a year or so - deffo overdue this years! It's looking better than ever as well, was the game that had me install steam for windows and the fiurst game I played when I moved to Linux free stuff excepted!

I wonder if that's the cause of the upgrade bug that's been present for each driver on the 535 branch, where upgrading the driver turns the screen off?
Are you on duel monitors? I had this until I switched my second screen off before rebooting...

I'm a recent convert to KDE - 10 + years on Ubuntu and on whim installed kbuntu last week, have to say overall am loving it! Very different from when I first saw KDE have to say!
