Unturned, A Highly Rated Free To Play Survival Game Released For Linux

Awesome news! I've been following this game for the better part of the year, envious of my Windows friends that were able to play it. An adorable zombie apocalypse? Huzzah! The developer (and I think it's just one guy, a kid I believe) regularly updates and patches the game. Ooo. It just finished downloading! Gotta go! :)

7 Days to Die Completely Broken For Mac & Linux

It is disappointing. It's clear the dev team did not actually run either Mac or LInux ports on their respective machines just to see if all was well.

But I hardly feel abandoned by the devs. It's a new build; it's alpha; there will be patches, I'm sure. I'll just play other things till patches come.

To those of us that simply can't wait for patches, it is apparently possible to revert back to build 11.6. To quote a user in the 7dtd forums at Steam [External Link]:

"If you can't stand A12 and want to revert t looks like you can do so. Go into the properties for 7 Days To Die, then beta tab, select Alpha 11.6 Stable, it will queue the update. Go into Downloads and run the update. Is working fine for me so far."

It's a holiday weekend in the States, so I don't expect to hear anything about this from the devs until next week at the earliest.

Victor Vran Release Date Announced, Going To Be Awesome

I've got over 40 hours in this game already. It's a straightforward ARPG that's pretty, fun, and addictive. The developers have been very communicative with the players, often implementing players ideas into the game with the very next patch (how Early Access is supposed to work). The controller support is smooth and intuitive.

Buying this game to show support for Linux was a no-brainer for me. I cannot praise the devs or their efforts highly enough and urge my Linux comrades to seriously give this game a look.

It'll come out if it comes out. Historically, it has nothing to do with what Larian Studio says.

I bought the controller the moment I saw it. I've grown increasingly unwilling to play a game without a controller. I play on the couch and the thought of dragging my keyboard and mouse out and connecting them is usually all it takes to keep me from playing the game.

I've seen enough about how the steam controller works to know that it will absolutely replace a K & M for all but the most demanding PvP shooters ... and even then it might be good enough to at last relegate my K & M to the corner and leave it there.

Having been seriously burned by Trapped Dead: Lockdown, can anyone verify that using a controller works fine in this game? I don't think Liam mentioned it in his review. If the controller works than yes, I'll buy it. But if not, no.

Their distro, their logo, I suppose. I remain unconfused.

I bought this the day it came out on Linux. It's only the second EA game I've purchased.

I love this game. I'm going to marry it.
