Oooooo! I'd been eagerly awaiting this before it became a "Linux Later" title, and I pushed it from my mind. Now that it's almost mostly sort of available on Linux, I'm excited again!!

So it's about a giant Marmite pudding? If it's an action-y-ish adventure, I'm excited. If it's just a pretty point-n-click, I'll trudge on.

It really is quite beautiful in its own way. Sometimes I forget how impressive "retro" pixel graphics can be made to look. I'll be keeping an eye on this.
What have you been playing on Linux lately and what do you think?

Borderlands 2: One of my brothers-in-law and I get together online one night a week to play this shoot-em-up laugh-fest game.
Payday 2: I don't have a problem. I can quit anytime I want to.
3089 -- Futuristic Action RPG: It plays like 5089: The Action RPG, but not as "futuristic," I suppose, but a silly lootin'-tootin' time all the same.
Enclave: I gave up after about a dozen try-and-fails getting through the town at the very beginning.
Half-Life 2, etc.: I played the dickens out of HL2 Orange Box version on my X360 back in da day, but I couldn't catch that old feeling this time around. I fizzled out early on, somewhere on the highway bit.
Meadow: Full of helpful, friendly souls urging me to follow them and do "things" all the while flashing emotes that I found as annoying as they were incomprehensible. I'll go back when I'm in a less quit-looking-at-me mood.
Q.U.B.E.: Director's Cut: Wonderful, casual puzzler. Totes looking forward to Q.U.B.E. 2!
The Fall: A side-scrolling puzzler that I stopped playing because ... I don't remember because. It probably made me think too much.
Life Goes On: The more that died, the more I giggled.

I'm 52 year-old American, and my generation was infatuated with WWII---the war of our parents and grandparents, so doubtless I had been exposed to the story of Dunkirk before on one documentary or another, but this was the first time I really learned about Dunkirk.
I recently watched [a documentary on Netflix about Winston Churchill called Winston Churchill: Walking with Destiny](https://www.netflix.com/search?q=chruchil&jbv=70170418&jbp=1&jbr=0). In it I learned about the evacuation of Dunkirk, and left me in a state of profound humility and awe. The selflessness and determination of the British volunteers was an act of the purest, highest humanity, of Sacredness and Heroism nonpareil.
I am no one to begrudge anyone anything, but I cannot bring myself to play a game about such an moment...something of which entertainment, I believe, is simply unworthy.

their started and failed projects. The most famous of them is the Half-Life seriesWe should all have such failed projects. We could fail our way into an early retirement on a Caribbean island paradise.

Quoting: EhvisBrother/Sister person, I gotta tell you: I miss a lot of things, and forget even more than I miss, and since news of Dogma: etc. was new to me (its status of unexciting notwithstanding) ... hooray GOL!Quoting: NanobangI hadn't even heard about this either, so GOL wins again!!Then you missed something.
The thing with this game is that the videos are underwhelming to say the least. Nothing in there that makes me excited to play it. They have a lot of work ahead of them.
The survival game 'Rust' has come a long way, I've completely changed my mind about it

Quoting: AryvandaarOffline raiding?Indeed, is the PVE aspect of the game (you mentioned a "ninja"-oar, for example)interesting enough to just enjoy it as a single-player, possibly co-op, PVE experience?

Quoting: liamdaweThey talked about connecting the right customers to the right games ...It depresses me a little that the trickle of Linux titles means that Steam's algorithms regard all Linux games as the "right" games to show me.
Quoting: liamdaweHopefully this will also including support for scaling, since the Steam Client is currently terrible for high resolution displays.[Written in underlined and emboldened flaming letters of stratosphere-scraping height shining with all the sweetness and grace of purest Divinity:] AMEN!
