Quoting: GuestSeems to be a great game. I grew up with the original Fallout games. Definitely a purchase from me, when it is fully released of course. I don't do early access, ESPECIALLY for RPGs, since campaigns tend to be huge in terms of playtime and i hate the constant changes and additions of content which make me feel i am constantly missing something and should begin from scratch. So, eagerly waiting for the full release on this one!Agreed. Any game with a story needs to be played from beginning to end. I wouldn't want to read a book with missing chapters or a serial TV show with missing episodes. I've also read that there are some balance issues with the combat that only time and care can fix. I'd happily wait and pay full price for a good finished product.

Quoting: jarhead_hJust chiming in, Overload is the true sequel to the Descent series made by people that worked on it. They just can't use the name Descent. If you love 6 degree movement games, and can only afford one, this is the one to get, and not only because it has a native Linux port. It's nice that they added a singleplayer campaign, but it's hard to imagine they can pull off a Descent rebirth better than Overload.

Quoting: TcheyOn my 4-5 years old computer, it runs good enough on "Medium". It's turn based, so it's not a big issue if the frame rate is not over the top.The framerate is not over the top on Windows either. I think it's just a limitation of the Unity engine or the game developers...or both.

There was a game-breaking bug in Early Access when using the Vulkan version of this game. I wonder if they fixed it.

Quoting: JanneThe argument seems to be something like "only technical merit should matter". But whenever you have at least two people working on one thing you have a social aspect to it, and it becomes important. "Be nice to each other" is not politics, it's project management 101.You're right. It really is politics too though, and that's not a bad thing. People only use politics like it's a bad word when it doesn't match up with their own politics. There are politics in everything, and anyone with a job knows there are office politics. There have to be. Who has the power? How much power do they have? What powers do subordinates have? What is the mission? What is the code of conduct? These are all political questions. Even in my house, there are politics I have with my kids. In that example, I'm El Presidente, and they better do what I say. :D

I look forward to playing this game once it leaves Early Access, although I suspect I'm going to be pretty awful at it.
