A writer for Forbes has been talking about the positives of switching to Linux

Quoting: ArehandoroI hear loud and wide how Forbes nowadays it's not what it used to be anymore*. Yet these articles are not only welcomed but also appreciated.

* Actually not that loud and not that wide, my comment was more of a southern hyperbole than an analysis on Forbes' articles xD
Well, it's true though. Anyone can write for Forbes now, and a lot of their articles are like content-farm clickbait. But a positive article about Linux is still great no matter where it's published, and we should definitely support such efforts.

Quoting: melkemindI have NieR Automata, but this game was broken on Windows [..] and not really playable without the third-party FAR mod
The fullscreen bug doesn't even happen on wine, and the game has been fully playable on wine for over a year now (and for over half a year with dxvk).
I'm sure we just have different ideas of what "playable" means. I used the FAR mod to improve performance and unlock the framerate, not just fix ultrawide screen problems. I just tried it with Proton, and it was locking to 30 fps. There's probably a way to get it to work. I just don't know what it is.

I have NieR Automata, but this game was broken on Windows (and never fixed by the devs) and not really playable without the third-party FAR mod, which doesn't seem to work on Linux (requires a dinput8.dll injection).

BATTLETECH has an expansion named FLASHPOINT coming out this November

I actually have Battletech (didn't buy it in Steam), and it's now in my Steam library. I clicked in Install, and it downloaded at a 15MB file. Does that mean it's close to a Linux release?

The action RPG that has you adventure as well as run a shop 'Moonlighter' is now on Linux

This game looks good, but what does "rogue-lite" mean? I tend not to like "rogue-like" games, but I'm assuming this isn't full rogue-like in every way. Is this one of those games where you have to die over and over?

My daughter played the developer's previous game, Contrast, and liked it. This game seems to have a similar style to that. Initial Steam reviews are "mostly positive" with some people saying it has a number of bugs and performance issues.
