Looks Like Grid Autosport Could See A Linux Release Soon

On Windows, you can max this game out at 1080@60fps on mid-range hardware. It'll be interesting to see if players can get similar results with Feral's port, especially considering the non-native port of Showdown from VP was so good. This is also one of the few games that supports dual monitors. You can choose what you want to be on the second monitor. Unfortunately, there's a fullscreen bug on Windows that they never fixed. I hope Feral can fix it on Linux.

Don't Count On Any EA Frostbite Powered Games On Linux
12 Sep 2015 at 5:19 pm UTC

EA is a console-oriented company. Back when I was a kid, and they used their whole name (Electronic Arts), they were very much PC oriented, but these days, there are games they don't even port to Windows, let alone any other PC OS (I'm looking at you, Madden). It's probably more apathy than anything deliberate. They just sit back and count the money.

I wonder how this game with play with the steam controller and if it will give people a competitive edge, hindrance, or be just the same.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown Free Weekend & XCOM 2 Available For Pre-Order For Day-1 Release

As often as Valve makes mistakes on their website, I wouldn't be surprised if it's just an oversight that Linux users can pre-order. Since it's a third-party port, they would have to wait until the original devs finish before they start porting. Unless Feral chimes in here and says it's a day-one release, I wouldn't believe it.

Saints Row 2 Looks Like It's Coming To Linux

Quoting: slaapliedjeI have to say, I've won all of the Saints Row games (except the first, which never came out for anything other than xbox, and Gat out of Hell, which I haven't bought yet) yet I haven't beaten a single GTA game.

They just seem more 'approachable' for some reason to me, probably because there aren't missions that are just freaking impossible (like some of the racing missions because I suck at those). But yes, I would play through the second one again on Linux if it were released.
I agree. I just can't get into GTA. I don't get the love affair people have with it, though I respect their opinions. The Saints Row series, on the other hand, has always been enjoyable for me. I even played through Saints Row: The Third twice and half of a third time with a friend in co-op. Saints Row 2's location (Stillwater) was definitely the best though. It would be nice if they gave it some love and cleaned up the PC version.

Saints Row 2 Looks Like It's Coming To Linux

Quoting: KeyrockSaints Row 2 is a fantastic game, it's also notorious for being one of the worst PC ports. I wonder if the Linux port will be able to address some of the PC port issues, or at least incorporate or be compatible with some of the mods that try to fix some of the PC ports issues.
I was thinking the same thing. I actually played it on the Xbox 360 years ago because the PC version was so horrible, even though my hardware was stronger than the 360 at the time.

Twin Stick Shooter Assault Android Cactus To Be Released Sept 23rd, Plus Some Early Access Reflections

My daughters and I played the demo about a year or so ago. They really liked it except for the parts where you had to chase down a battery to stay alive. I know some people on the forums even asked if they would make an "easy" version for kids that didn't have that. I guess I'll have to check it out to see if they did.

This game has been one of my favorites for a while. Maybe we can arrange a time when those of us who like can play online.

MadOut Is A Pretty Terrible Combat Racer On Linux

Quoting: Xpanderit feels more like a mobile phone game not a PC game. all the tracks are pretty much the same, textures are terrible, music is terrible, translation errors.
It feels like a mobile phone game because it is a mobile phone game. That seems to be the new trend: port mobile games to PC on the cheap with little or no improvements.

Haha, then it would be a turn-based strategy game and not a real-time strategy game :D
