And now I am the owner of both of these games. I have spend way way to much on this Steam sale.

It's very sneaky. 5 euro's here, 10 euro's there, 15 euro's here.

Hey, there is a Rage 2 sale? Well I already have Rage, so I better get this to complete my collection. That was another 40 euro's gone, and that 10/15 times more.

And now these two games for only 7/8 bucks, that is cheap. Might as well get those.

Ok, This post has made me check the damage I have done to myself, turns out is has been around 300 euro's.

Yikes...

More Xen content is coming to Black Mesa on August 1st

Is there a reason there is no Linux version yet? I mean, Black Mesa is already on Linux and this is "just" a few new levels to finish the game I would assume.

Or does this update also comes with a engine update graphically?

Thanks. The best thing you can do is leave a review/comment for the developers on Steam to tell them "thank you" for the Linux release. This allows someone like me to return to our publisher, who wanted to ax the Linux version but keep Mac, and say "This is why you build for Linux, and you should make your future games for Linux as well."
I will do that for sure!

Quoting: Sojiro84Not long anymore! Been waiting for this mod turned game to be complete before I shall play it from start to finish. Man, it's been what, a decade/almost a decade of waiting?

This year I shall finally be playing Black Mesa!

Xen looks amazing by the way. They did a great job.
It all started in 2004.
Has it been that long? Hot damn my memory isn't what it used to be.

Well worth the wait though. Going to be fun and said playing Half-Life 1 again. Sad because there will never be a 3.

Just bought it because of this article. Didn't knew about the game and I like a chill gaming experience.

I also support developers that make a Linux version. Thanks for the interview.

It's always interesting to read how a game is made and the struggles that come with it.

Confessing my continued love of the Steam Controller, a few years after release
8 Jun 2019 at 2:08 pm UTC Likes: 1

I tried the steam controller as well, but playing third person games or shooters is impossible with it. The aiming is so weird/awkward/imprecise.

Sure, maybe after many many many hours of practice I might be good at it, but I don't want to suck at games for a long period of time before I can enjoy it.

I read online that aiming should be done with the gyro but that means moving my wrists in weird angles. Gaming is meant to be relaxing and the steam controller is just frustrating to use.

But I do applaud the people that manage to go through the transitional period.

Nice! Finally a game that isn't 2D and pixel artsy.

Looking forward to this one. Looks good.

Paladins, the team-based shooter seems to work well with Steam Play
21 Jan 2019 at 7:22 pm UTC Likes: 1

Quoting: MaelraneHow can you even install it? It says "Is already in your steam library", well it's not under "Games" (unfiltered) and not under "hidden"... and "Play now" just says: "An error... (invalid platform)" :(
Do you have steamplay enabled for all games? Do you already have the game installed maybe? See if you can remove it or find the files on the disk and delete the Paladins directory if it is there.

I installed Paladins through the steam store btw. Just press install/play there, installed it, and off I went!

You can always try to install it though the link at protondb: https://www.protondb.com/app/444090 [External Link]

Press the install button there and then Steam should pop-up with a install window.
