I installed it on my portable computer, last XFCE version, and I have to say, for an Ubuntu/Gnome user for several years , that I'm charmed.
After tried a lot of popular Linux distributions, I think this one could be my next day to day Linux distribution.

So much work since 1993, it took them more than 20 years to create an open source MS Windows OS.
Very impressive and ambitious project that nowadays is essential for Linux users/gamers.

Quoting: GuestLutris, on the other side, is very ugly :(
Really?

I don't think so, it has a dark theme and you can hide left and right panel to keep only the thumbs view.

A newly public patent (filed in 2018) from Valve shows a Steam Controller with attachments

Quoting: Beamboom... But does it really need a second edition? Logitech has had their F710 model for what must be a decade now (if not older? 15 years?), still on the market with no alterations whatsoever. Even the design is untouched, looks a decade old now.

And I still use mine. It's perfect!
I do have Valves too and it's not bad at all. I love the shape of it, sits perfectly in my hands. But when I really want to kick back and enjoy a "console game" session I grab my F710. Two analoge stick is really the combo one needs.
How does it work on Linux? You plug it and it just works or you have to tweak?
Could you make different profiles on Linux for each game?

You would think Wine doped with amphetamines since Valve participated in its development.

Quoting: CitirollerMy second ever PR on GitHub [External Link], contributing to an open Source Project finally made it:
a new System info tab in the preferences made it in which is very handy as you can quickly copy and paste your system info from it
It was fun implementing this and learning a little bit about the GTK library :D I hope my code is in good hands and is easy to maintain.
Nice contribution!

Wine 5.5 development release out with new features and fixes

. I tried your Lutris script but it failed after downloading the installer from GOG
GOG recently changed their API and Lutris does no more know how to download automatically GOG setup files.
Workaround: use last git version or disconnect GOG sync in "import games..." menu. Then Lutris will no more automatically download GOG setup file and will ask you instead for a local setup file.

However when I installed it on my laptop (Ryzen 3500U, identical software setup), I got 40FPS so the game might just dislike my hardware.
I think you found the cause.
