As a big fan of Commandos and Desperados, I am very excited for this game.

'Firewatch', the first person mystery adventure game has a major update, new game mode and Unity update

Did this update fix the game's thoroughly disappointing ending?

I never had any performance issues, but anything that makes the game run better for people with lower spec machines is welcome.

It's a game worth playing, though not at full price, if only to experience some of the best realistic dialogue in a game ever. It's just a real shame that aftet showing real promise of leading somewhere interesting and excting at the beginning the game instead goes down just about the dullest and most mundane path imaginable. Oh well.

Dogma: Eternal Night is an in-development vampire MMO that will have Linux support

When I first saw "Dogma" I thought Dragon's Dogma and got SUPER excited. Then I realized my mistake and disappointment set in. Oh well, this could be cool. If the writing is even half as good as The Secret World and the gameplay is only half as awful, this could be good.

I'm fine with delays so long as this doesn't go the way of Mighty No 9.

I'm super excited for this game. Assuming the reviews are decent, I'll likely get this game straight away.

Quoting: neowiz73funny thing, I've purchased all their Linux ports except Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered
At that price, Indigo Prophecy is worth buying just to experience an early example of "David Cage thinks he's a genius but is actually a hack and completely off his rocker". It's not a good game by any stretch, but holy **** is it bizarre. :D

Great to heat from TTimo, I was wondering what he'd been up to since leaving id. It's nice to hear about improvements in Linux tools and middleware. Hopefully this situation continues to improve and one day we'll be on par with Windows and consoles.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is officially coming to SteamOS & Linux, port by Feral Interactive

Aww yiss!

As far as the mixed reviews go, that's kind of a sensitive grey area. On the one hand, is it fair to give the game a negative rating based mostly on the microtransactions? Probably not. On the other hand, having microtransactions of any kind in a $60 single player game is already treading on fairly scummy ground, though if they're purely cosmetic you could kind of forgive that sort of thing. But this? Selling praxis kits? That is downright shameful and Squeenix deserve every bit of the uproar they are getting because of this. The utterly ridiculously priced season pass doesn't help either.

That aside, it is by most accounts a really good game and I have no intentions of ever purchasing any praxis kits, I'll earn them on my own, thank you very much.

You need to build a relationship with an AI? What are the chances the AI eventually tries to kill you? 99%? 99.9%? 99.9999999999999%?

MASSIVE game could refer either to file size or a big open world. Either way, Max Max seems to fit the bill.

:D
